Shot down again Tex. ;)

I can't believe there is such a pitiful stock for long winter trenchcoats right now, I went to the Trafford Park Shopping centre in Manchester today to look for a new one as my old coat is way too big for me now and I could not believe there were hardly any winter coats in stock! And they've already started Christmas advertising and have had Halloween stuff out for ages now.

At least the trip was worth it when I paid a visit to Selfridges and had lunch in its Sushi bar. :)

Well my day envolved talking about the Russian Revolution of 1917, and the food shortages that plagued the run up to revolution.

My lunch consisted of Greggs... hardly a match to the old Sushi eh ?

Eugh, Trafford Centre... I nearly got lost there when it first opened. It's always so crowded, though there are plenty of nice shops and places to eat. As for winter jackets, I haven't seen them anywhere really, either. And I need one, because my wafer-thin waterproof does nothing to keep me warm :P

Indeed, I almost froze to death when I was at football on Saturday in my Denim jacket. I saw a nice long coat in John Lewis' but it was really thin and only showerproof so that wouldn't keep me warm at all. There was also a nice brown trenchcoat but I wanted it either white or beige and they only had medium size and Extra Large (I'm a large).

Suppose if I shop closer to Home I might be more lucky, or failing that there's always Ebay. ;)

Probably a good idea. I used to have a really good coat, but it was so thick that you could only really wear it in extreme weather, so it never got used and I grew out of it. :/

Meh it raining today on my day off, Im never gonna ride  Went to a gym though, joining tomorrow full membership

Ride in the rain? I hate gyms. Which is probably why I'm so unfit :(

Today I had to log in to all of our switches and write down where they were and what type they were for this new Academy thing. We're supposed to be getting shiny new equipment (at least, in some parts of the school) before the school actually becomes an Academy in January. It is Hellish boring to do that. I also had to ring Toshiba, yet again, to talk to a guy who has been promising us written confirmation of a warranty extension to cover a particular problem with these projectors we have (for anybody working in IT/wanting a projector, don't buy a Toshiba TDP-S8 - they have PSU issues) for nearly four months now. I know that we're never going to get it, but I'm having to waste twenty minutes a day on hold before getting to speak to the guy, then being lied to and ending the call within two minutes. It's frustrating.

So yeah, I feel a little bit crappy today. But hey, I have two sachets of Nescafé instant-Mocha left and Stargate Atlantis is on tonight. Hopefully my weekly fix of Jewel Staite will not be interrupted :cloud9:
