Aside from a slight attitude problem, his physical fitness is not as good as some other drivers, and there are some problems with the car. After the graining phase of the tyres today, he was easily the fastest guy on the track. It's a combination of factors.

Kimi on his day will destroy the field...The problem is what day is his?! Is never seems to be race day sunday :banghead:

I think the fact Schu is in the pits alot has his back up and only fuels his offish looking body language/ attitude. Its hard to be Number 1 when the true number one wont retire properly. lol

Kimi does have a brightside though - He made me laugh at the Singapore GP. All the drivers were commenting on the time difference / bodyclock issues and Kimi comes out with something along the lines of, I'm fine, it doesn't affect me. I sleep when I'm tired and wake up when I'm ready - Guess that makes sense

I'm not giving up on Kimi just yet but next season, atleast for me, will show just how commited he is to actually justify his contract extension. No doubt next year's new reg's will be a true determining factor of a drivers will, skill and determination.

Im not a Kimi fan but, I'm F1 drivers fan. Guys, you have no idea how hard to drive an F1. If you have experience of karting with 15 to 25 laps and 125cc shifter class, you know what im talking about. It's not easy at all believe me. I know this for fact because I compete in 125cc shifter class Honda spec. with 15 laps, You will be surprise how hard it is and imagine that on F1 car. wooh! Let's try not to judge all the F1 drivers with their mistakes. It happens all the time. With my 6 yrs. of experience and competing in karting with 125cc shifter class, it's hard to win. That's why I absolutely understand how all this F1 drivers feels when they win or crash.

I don't understand what mean. It's difficult for all of the drivers and they just happen to be coping better than Raikkonen.

I think some of you guys let whatever the points say dictate your description of a driver. Kimi was rear ended by Lewis in the pits and taken out of a race he would at least have done very well in. Then he crashed in the rain from the lead. Put both of those races back in, especially if Lewis had chosen to rear end the BMW next to Kimi instead of swerving into someone contending for the title....and Kimi would be in the thick of the battle.

Racing is 6 tenths preparation, 2 tenths driver skill and 2 tenths luck. At least some of his poor performances have been attributed to bad luck on setup (sets up for dry, and it's wet).

Exactly !
I'm karting too, for years now...and I think we still can't iamagine what it is like to drive a F1-car.
I drove a formula car last year (Formula Ford 1600cc) and the difference between my Rotax Max and that was incredible...I could not have imagined that big difference !!!

The point is Kimi is struggling. I did not forget his WC from last year. But this year he made some stupid mistakes !
His physical condition is bad, his concentration is bad and the biggest problem : his attitude ! It seems it doesn't botter him that much this year is a lost one...it's like he's not pride having the Nr1 car ...
