has anyone noticed that heidfeld in the bmw is 5th higher than kovalainen in the mclaren yet no one has really noticed him i think he is a really unsung hero

Kovalainen's qualifying pace is usually excellent, so he must be carrying a fair bit of fuel. Heidfeld did a great job today and the penalty he got was disgusting.

That is true. In fact, Heidfeld's crying in Hungary was worse, for he knew fine rightly Bourdais didn't hold him up. Today's penalty was wrong, but I, too, can't help but feel it will serve as a little retribution.

Heidfeld has been sub standard this year but recently strung together some consistent results. He won't be troubling anyone in the race

In fact, seeing as it's Tilke's incompetence that caused the incident, instead of Heidfeld getting a 3 place penalty maybe Tilke should get a '3 race' penalty, whereby he can have no influence on the next 3 circuits to be added.
