I think Nico can be pretty much guaranteed getting into Q3 today, Kazuki might struggle, probably get P11. Vettel and/or Bourdaisl and/or Webber will probably find something before qualifying and sneak into Q3. Piquet looks to be going well here too, especially as because it is night time the track temperatures are lower and mean the Renault doesn't chomp its tyres as badly.

I dont know how or why ferrari do it but they always come good in qualifying even after a terrible couple of days practice. Maybe they dont like to show all their cards straight away

They are suggesting Kimmi was very light to ensure he qualified on that last run. Only a supposition but would make sense since he was in the drop zone very near the end of the session

Harsh for Alonso. I don't know what is going on with Hamilton, he's been a bit lucky though! They must have changed something in the setup (i'm thinking suspension) cause he wasn't off the pace in Q1. Nice lap by Glock too.

think it was just a scruffy lap and as it was the only one he had time for. Had he had done two laps im sure he would be comfy

Massa on pole. Good work. But much work to do because Lewis Hamilton is second. It is going to be a close one for sure. I am hoping Kimi gets ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Massa does a great start so then Kimi can ride shotgun for Massa for the whole race.
