Well, with the kerbs sanded down, it looks like the drivers will just cut it.

So penalty lottery??? Now who's a betting man??

Irv_the_Swerv was but he's no longer around the forum these days. But he'll probably put bets on Sutil anyway. :P

You mean to be singled out for a chicane cutting penalty?? Thats a long shot but Hamilton is evens. Massa is 666,0000 /1

Piquet is currently fastest in Saturday practice with a time of 1:45.249. That's four tenths faster than Alonso's P2 time yesterday, and just short of three tenths faster than Hamilton's in P1. I'm quite impressed by that - his name was at the top as soon as I opened Live Timing. I though there was a mistake :P

Also, despite a lack of running, Webber has just put himself up to second :)

I'm just using the Live Timing service on the Formula 1 website. There are some streams available on the internet, but they're low quality.

Edit: Alonso currently fastest now, with a time of 1:44.506. Nearest is Hamilton on a 1.45.119.

Wow, JB in 6th, i hope that will actually mean he's found some pace from that Honda.... we can dream!

I've put a quid on Alonso for pole, at 15/1, why the hell not, he's worth a punt.

wow Alonso fastest once again, maybe he's actually got something decent underneath him for the race. Chances are however that hammy, massa, kimi et al are saving something for qualifying

You can't really read much into the times for the third practice session. A lot of the teams are trying different things and getting ready for qualifying. These times kind of confirm what we expected: that Ferrari and McLaren would be top; that Renault and Williams look good; that Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Toyota's cars don't suit the track; and that Coulthard is getting aced by Webber again. :hehe:

Nico Rosberg is consistently in the top 6 in all practices. Maybe this track really suits his car :hehe:

If you say something enough times, the law of averages would suggest it will come true at some stage. :hehe:

No, you can't. But he has been pretty quick all weekend. Maybe the chance of a podium if Raikkonen can't do the job in qualifying today? The BMWs aren't looking brilliant, so he could be fighting it out with them. I'd like to see what Piquet can do, personally. He was running quite well all morning. Well, morning here. :P
