I reckon folk are wierdly jealouse of Lewis. Beats me really why they get fun out of slating him Guess they dont really appreciate a racer. They prefer to slag of his personality(or their perception of it) rather than appreciate his skills. Well each to his own.

it is true that Hamilton has made alot of errors this year and if he wins it will pprove that he can be champ even tho he's not at his best so in a year or two when we see Hamilton at his best he will win the champpionship and he will be the new schumaecher

Vettel seems like a great guy, although if he had 8 race victories to his name he might have a bit more of an ego. I disagree about Kubica. He is just as self-centred as Hamilton, and just as ruthless in getting what he wants; but he's better at hiding it from the press, i.e. more crafty.

Agree completely with this, particularly re Kubica. Some folk are easily taken in! Love his driving and rate him. You dont win if you dont believe you can.

I agree about Kubica. He has shown his true colours this year. I feel sorry for the folk at BMW having to listen to his incessant whinging. On top of this, he's been sure to get himself signed up on as short a contract as possible, perhaps hoping to jump ship if things at BMW don't work out. He's no fool alright. At least this is offset by his brilliant driving.

First things first, this has got nothing to do with Hamilton's personalty. Hamilton can be an arrogant twat a lot of the time, but to say Kubica has not had his moments is garbage. There has been a number of times this season when Kubica has complained about BMW's setup and priorities, and, if the various inside rumours are to be believed, he's been constantly nagging to the team's management. Hell, is he not supposed to have come out with some remark that BMW were favouring Heidfeld because he was a German in a German team? What piffle, given this season's bloody car was designed around his driving style!

Hamilton was not having secret talks with Williams last season, but he was having secret talks with them a few years before that. Had you been on this forum in the last year or so, you would have seen I made a big deal about this. I was disgusted then and am still a little bit annoyed about now. As aforementioned, however, Hamilton's attitude and behavior has nothing to do with Kubica.

I think you will find my post's cover the spectrum of this forum in most of the sections. I have a very wide range of interests & usually I just post things that interest me.

When it comes to F1 I am not much of a Technical guru so don't really go too deep in commenting on things I don't have a good grasp on.
But when it comes to the human interest stories & the politics then it's a different story
You will find that the values I express on here are exactly how I lead my life.

Sorry if I did mix dates with his Williams/other teams afair - could be truth - my mistake.

Don't really know how you got the information that F1.08 is build to suit Kubica style, may as well be other way - he adapt his style to suit the car.
As for his words that team need to back him - neither you or me have no idea what is team doing behind closed doors, maybe it was PR staff, maybe his agent asked him to say that in order to get a nice new deal somewhere else or maybe really there is somthing not perfectly alright over there. Coul be hundreds reasons. Fact is that so far NH has around 35-40% more opportunites to test car, maybe RK would like see it other way? Maybe he really believe that he would have a better chance to achieve more this season then. Truth is also that right after his comment his father said that lately relationship beetwen RK and BMW are not so good.
I could not agre also with your comment about his "short time" contract - as with his current one he had not much to say, he would take whatever they would give him, and new one is not officialy stated, we don't even know if there will be new one with BMW not to mention lenght of it.

Word in paddock is that RK is quite nice bloke and it was him who won Bandini prize so that should tell us something about him as well I guess.

I said long time ago that I don't believe this German team/driver rule and if there is one like that and BMW is backing NH then that is really stupid move IMHO as this guy has no bright future in F1 anyway, more like nice finish.

Anyway my whole point is that I don't see RK is similiar twat to LH but then I accept that you may have difrent point of view than me - I just don't agree with it

And to make it clear - I never dobt that LH is good driver, I just don't really like the way he is showing himself to world, either it is his truth face or he is acting in front cameras - I could not care less.

Will HAmilton stay cool under pressure - we are soon to check it and that is a really good news
