First of all, KR doesn't have an attitude, he just has a 'I don't give a sh!t! mentality, whether or not he's winning.
Where have you been for the last 3 years? FA got criticized a lot about his arrogance and attitude and whining even before the McLaren disaster.

Like ive said many a time you seem more pre occupied and more interested with Hamiltons every move, every quote than the actual sport of F1 racing itself. Added to the fact he drives for McLaren you go overboard with your respect less attitude towards Lewis.

And to say he hasnt achieved anything is abit rich, not every driver need to win a title to be a success! Saying that he isnt even fully 2 years into his career i wouldnt go bringing that slant on him, it will only come back to bite you as theres plenty of time to win a title or titles for him

It's not going to bite me mate. I know he is good and in the best car he has proven it. But what if he was driving a Torro Rosso would he be getting the same Hype & results ???
So the 2 years into his career crap really should come with a BUT

If all the talented drivers had a great car under them strait out of the box this Hammy Hype would be put into perspective.
I recon RK or SV would be doing just as good a job if not better & they would have my respect.
Does my respect mean anything. No - they wouldn't give a Sh!t, but it does to me so this is how I look at things.

I hope Lewis Hamilton cracks under pressure in Singapore and Massa scores heaps of points or better still Massa wins. Then after that I hope Lewis Hamilton makes even more mistakes under pressure and Massa keeps scoring points, thus winning the title.

I hope not...
Let's hope Felipe can beat Lewis on the track, without failures for both of these gents.
The final victory would taste even better! Wishing bad luck to an opponent is never correct, by my opinion.

Agreed. I can't understand people who want to see races or championships won through DNFs, mistakes, and similar. Let's hope for racing.

I was thinking more of F1 fans, not drivers; taking the opinions of his 19 competitors is probably not going to give you a fair reflection of the average global standpoint...but I should have said 'rarely criticised.' The fact that most of that on-track criticism only comes his way because he's Lewis Hamilton is by the by I suppose.

Hamilton does have a lot of skill at the wheel of an F1 car but he is slightly arrogant at times but I think the media do twist his words a lot.

Personally, I like Hamilton. My favorites are Hamilton and Massa. I think these two drivers are the best in the business. I have been watching F1 for quite some time now, and have to admit that I believe Hamilton is an amazing driver. I wish him the best. I can't for the life of me figure out why people hammer this kid so much. I unfortunately for the first time in F1 history, am ashamed for the F1 community. Because not only is it not congratulating someone for his many accomplishments, but is wishing him ill will on the track. For the first time, I think we are starting to see the true colors of the F1 fan. And I must say, that I question it's integrity.

Is this an unbiased sport? I wonder. I give credit where credit is due. I want to see one of you guys get out there, in one of the fastest cars on the planet, and just place! The heck with coming in first or second, but just place! I used to do some open wheel racing, and I have to say, it's one of the most aggressive of the cars to drive. You can flick it around the track like a fly, and it is extremely dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Lewis Hamilton not only placed in his first year on the track, but could possibly go home with the championship after this years races are complete. I'm sorry, but I have to give the guy respect and credit for his accomplishments.

It takes someone with a pair of iron one's, to get into that car, strap in, start that baby up, and slap your foot down on the medal, go firing through the other pack of rocket fueled monsters on the road, and not only place, but come in first. I'm sorry fans, but that's just amazing! And as far as I'm concerned, if it wasn't for Hamilton, Massa would be the only one leading the pack. Yes, I've heard the arguments about Kimi, but I'm sorry people, he's just not cutting it.

I say keep your head down Hamilton, and do what you do best. I wish you the best of luck.

At the end of the day I think all these drivers are amazing, my own personal opinions aside. I just hope people start giving credit where credit is due. Because guys like Hamilton, Massa, and people that go out on that track to win, for the love of the sport, and not just the F1 lifestyle like many other drivers, are what make this sport so amazing. I just hope F1 fans would be willing to put their own personal opinions aside and support the best driver on the track. No matter what their background is, where they're from, and what they look like. Because I have to say, it is interesting that Hamilton is getting so much flack, and he happens to be a man of color. In that sense, it doesn't shock me that the racing community is so hard on him, because of typically how the racing community is in that sense. And I think for those people that are making those comments specifically because of his makeup, should be ashamed of themselves. Not that I am assuming any of the F1 fans are of that makeup. Although I do find it fascinating, that for as long as I've been an F1 fan, I have never seen so many people ganging up on one of the best drivers on the track. Call me crazy, but that's kind of odd.

Again, go hop in a little indie car and whomp on it around the track. I think you'll see just how difficult it is. Needless to say a full blown F1 racer. Which makes what Hamilton and Massa can do, consistently every race, so absolutely amazing.

No offense to any F1 fans, these are just my humble opinions.

Wow. I read the first paragraph and it was so rediculous I couldn't bring myself to read the rest of the novel. If you believe that Hamilton is the first driver to be disliked by some fans then you have certainly NOT been watching this sport or any other driving series for very long. I am happy for you that you can pick the two top drivers in a sport as your 'favorites'. That way you won't have to get behind either one of them.

You are ashamed of the F1 community because not everyone thinks Hamilton's rookie assertions that he is as good as Senna, and Schumi are in good taste? He beached his car in the pit lane for the love of god. This year he rear ends a competitor in the pit lane! This is a guy who is comparable to Senna? His mouth is...but that is all. All year he has been talking bad about currently driving world champions in the press. He disrespected Alonso and Kimi many times, has pushed most every driver out there off the course at one point or another and has an entire host of drivers railing against him in the press and you are embarrassed that some fans don't like him? Kid, please....

The reason you don't see many rookies losing the championship for their team probably has something to do with them not being in a dominant position in the WDC in the first place...I suppose 5 podiums in your first five races is pretty average. Followed by two race victories in your 6th and 7th...winning two more races in your first season, including a stunning performance in Fuji. Beating a double world champion in exactly the same car. And then second season syndrome has truly taken hold of him. 4 more brilliant race wins and several more quality drives. Leading the Championship again. And when has he ever compared himself to the legends of the sport?

This guy really is a failure. No future at all, no potential, no talent.
