From F1 Live:

Formula one team founder Peter Sauber has revealed that, of the two main challengers, he would prefer to see his former driver Felipe Massa win the 2008 title.

Sauber, whose Hinwil based team is now controlled by BMW while he remains a small shareholder and consultant, raced as a privateer with customer Ferrari power for many years.

"If I follow my heart, I would say Massa because Ferrari obviously means a lot more to me," the 64-year-old Swiss, who actually dropped Massa at the end of 2002 before re-hiring him in 2004, said.

Sauber also told the Credit Suisse emagazine that he believes Massa, just a single point behind McLaren's Lewis Hamilton, is the more solid contender with four races to go.

"Both McLaren and Hamilton are showing some nerves," he said, questioning McLaren's handling of the Hamilton championship campaign. "Hamilton was declared as this year's star and world champion even before the season got going. This is in keeping with McLaren's style, but of course it's not true. That's a huge burden for a young man to bear and now, in one way or another, it has taken its toll. He just can't take the pressure."

Imagine how he will react if something happen to him/car in Singapore while Massa will get some decent points. He would start to think that it's jusr repeat from last year. He may just crack a bit :)
His shrink will be working very hard to put that confidence back into his head. And I mean confidence in his head not what he is showing in news.
Plus maybe some small news that his girlfriend had a "secret" meeting with some film star - that would be just cracker :)

On the other hand if he score more points tham Massa in the next two races - he will go on wave and will be WDC.

I hope Lewis Hamilton cracks under pressure in Singapore and Massa scores heaps of points or better still Massa wins. Then after that I hope Lewis Hamilton makes even more mistakes under pressure and Massa keeps scoring points, thus winning the title.:thumbup::wink:

If todays appeal goes against him then i think Lewis is going to show a lot more pressure - if it goes in toward Mclaren i think he will be more relaxed ans confident int he last few races

I Don't think the appeal will have anything to do with Hamilton and his 'Pressure' after qualifying 15th...I think.....to have the race that Lewis did were at one point if it had of rained he would have been in position to win speaks volumes of how he deals with pressure.

I hope not...
Let's hope Felipe can beat Lewis on the track, without failures for both of these gents.
The final victory would taste even better! Wishing bad luck to an opponent is never correct, by my opinion.

But hey, that's me :)

Incorrect. If it were against Williams, BMW-Sauber or Renault etc then I would go by Ferrarista's view. But losing to McLaren is not an option or seeing McLaren win is not an option. Especially Lewis Hamilton! I'll take anything to gurantee victory over them both. Against anyone else, I'll sportingly accept a loss.

Nothing wrong with Mclaren becoming world champions this year.
The team aint the problem. Ron Dennis and co are masters of their time, alongside the likes of Patrick Head, Frank Williams, Pat Symonds (to but name a few)
Legends of the modern era, just like Ferrari and Chapman were in their time.

Personally I just wish they had another driver leading their team... Even if Kimi was still there I wouldn't mind.

With it all so close I sooooooooooooo want to see them up against each other in the closing stages of the season with them getting wheel to wheel and let the best man win without any failures or anything stupid. Pretty disgusted that anyone that's actually into F1 would want the title decided any other way, even a Ferrari fan :p
