Yes maam, I am aware of who started this thread and that the reason it was 'born' was to thumb a nose at those who dislike Hamilton's childish and immature rantings. The problem is, as happened when the English started calling American's Yankee Doodles....the concept has been taken to heart by those it was meant to irritate. Now, our little club has swelled in size and those who were attempting the high road at its inception, now come in just to call names and act the fool. The very idea that your hero is not worshipped the world over causes those who are very emotional to lash out and get all weepy eyed. Naturally, as is the nature of things on the internet that just makes for more dissent against your hero because his followers act every bit the w***er he acts like. I actually smile every time one of his fanclub acts like a jerk, because those sitting on the fence about him see that action and judge your hero by it. Sure, not all the time but often enough. In any event, it is fun to watch this creation turn on it's masters.
Oh, and just so that I'm staying on topic here....Lewis is going to lose that appeal, and there are very few drivers or teams who think it should go the other way. Act like an arse on the track and nobody backs you even if the call is questionable. Talk out your arse to the press every time a microphone walks within 20 meters of you and presto....Lewis Dissenters Club is born. As crazy as it sounds, I am cheering for Lewis next week. I have always said if you can't win....fail spectacularly...and I'm betting he does the latter...after which he will blame the team, the FIA, the competitors, the flagmen, the tire manufacturers, Shumi, Alonso and every other driver on the track for stealing what he morally deserves. Pfft...w***er.
