You have to admit, however, that's a pretty pathetic statement to make on how the championship will be decided. A world champion who can't drive in the wet. If Massa does win this year's championship, his name will look so out of place when set against guys such as Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Graham Hill, Senna, Schumacher etc.

Alain Prost was crap in wet. Well at least compared to Ayrton Senna and he won the title 4 times.

i dont remeber prost spinning multiple times in one gp during a title bid though :P

I remember Senna keeping ahead of Prost at Donnington 1993 and Senna had a much less powerful car then Prost's Williams. Prost was scared to go any faster than he was going I take it. Senna had no fear.

Wasn't it Lewis who got stuck heading the pitlane last year ? ...wet it was , wasn't it? :D

Hamilton: I deserve 2008 F1 title.

"He 'morally deserves' to win the 2008 F1 World Championship " WOOOW

Yes. If McLaren loose the appeal (as they will) and Lewis looses the championship by six points or less lthen he wil be the moral victor. I think you'll find this is what he means. And I'd agree.

I don't think he deserves to win the championship I would say that Massa deserves the championship much more because he's improved a lot since last season.

Are you saying it will look good besides Villeneuve, Damon Hill and so on? :)

Hill had his good qualities. Villeneuve, however, is a complete misfit, who only made it because of his legendary surname. To be honest, one reason why Williams lacks a little bit of sparkle as a team for me is because their driver history is so average.
Massa - in my eyes - went from water boy to a real driver. I think that he has mental frame to win this season - something I just could not see before. In short, he has finally grown out of MS's shadow.

I agree. Massa has gone from a walking disaster employed to be Schumacher's tea boy to be a solid if not spectacular pair of hands.
At best Lewis did mature a bit, but considering that last year he had much stronger competition from his teammate (and lost some big points to him), I'm not sure that he is driving this year any better than he did.

I don't quite agree here. At the start if this season Hamilton showed his inexperience, but he's improved a lot since then. He's adapted his driving style to preserve his tyres and is not making the same gaffes that he used to.

That's just what I was thinking. Prost was not exceptional in the wet, but you could normally count him to keep it on the track and perhaps take advantage of a drastic situation, like others spinning off etc.

Six? The difference in points between first and third is only four...

I think Massa wouldn't have looked as bad at Silverstone if he had been driving the McLaren to be honest. He probably would have finished off the podium, but we all heard and saw just how hard the Ferrari found putting down small amounts of power. It's like the throttle control is just a huge on/off switch :P

Hahaha, are you serious? Villeneuve was not that great. But Hill? Get a grip... Massa is hardly capable of wins in epic races/legendary drives like Japan '94, Hungary '97 and so on...

umm she means if he didnt have the Ferrari International Assistance take his win in Spa away from him.
which is what this whole topic is about. he is talking as though he deserved that win and if the appeal is unsuccessful and he loses the title by less than 6 points then he feels he is morally the winner

simple but as usual you get people who take everything he says and twist it to suit their obsessive hatred of the guy

I was talking about the points scored in Spa. Hamilton lost four points to Massa as a result of his 'penalty', not six.

um no can you add?

after the Ferrari International Assistance stepped in

Lewis had a minus of 4 points while Felipe had a plus of 2 thats a 6 point turn around advantage in the championship Felipe.

I think you'll find he just says this

"Morally, I think I deserve the title and I'll do everything in my power to win it. There are four races left and they are all long hauls which I love. I'll be ready."

no mention of being within the 6 point gap is there? :hehe:

Didn't do any of that.

Things I studied were (in no particular order):

Operating systems
Network operating systems
Computer hardware
Computer software
Communication technologies
Network design and administration
System justification
System analysis
Control technology
End-user support
Human-computer interface

No mathematics in there at all :P

Well, we had to add/subtract/multiply binary numbers, but that is very different to regular maths stuff. You only have 0s and 1s :hehe:

I really need to get out and do an MCSA or MCSE qualification, too...[/ramble]
