At least Massa kept things on the track today. At least some brains make up for his deficiencies in car control.

A bit harsh

havent been impressed with hamiltons

'the weather cost me the win'

and other such comments! i dont think he wouldve had vettel anyway,

he was lucky not to be shunted off by webber near the end, he paid the price for going so hard in the middle, which is not a bad comment, just a choice

dont really like the guys attitude, hes quite sly

in all fairness on the day it did!

But what really cost him the win was his Q2 tyre choice

i dunno, if it was really wet he couldnt win it, if was really dry he couldnt come through the field, he wanted it to be pretty even thoughout to win

but yeah without q2 he probably would have, silly boy haha

Hamilton can be a right twat, but his remarks this afternoon are pretty much the truth.

Hamilton is a twat. You could see at the end of the race, the number of drivers who queued up to congradulate Sebastian. When has Hamilton ever had that?
After the race he was interviewed and wasn't even 100% sure that Vettel had won... that's quite disrespectful.

What is happening to Heikki at Mclaren?

You could tell from his expression on the podium and during the post-race interview: very glum.

It was because of I was too busy working, so missed the race Live, yes thats it

Hey, I could run my mouth on Hamilton alot more than I do these days. I mean I see above Massa has been criticised... why is it alright to do that, but not Hamilton?

Take note the guy driving the car that belongs to the company that comes from....... And I quote:

We are McLaren. We have the best facilities in Formula One. We exist to win.
:whip::whip:

What the hell is wrong with I said? McLaren have one of the biggest budgets in Formula One. They have the best facilities in Formula One, with the Technology Centre, Brand Centre and kick-bottom simulator, and a fantastic history in Formula One, and also some other forms of motorsport. That's not arrogance. That's the bloody truth of the matter. And who are you to lecture anybody about arrogance. Ferrari and their fans are most pompous, delusioned and arrogant people in Formula One. The tifosi think that because they sport a red Ferrari top that they are allowed to berate the fans of other teams and non-Ferrari drivers at Grands Prix.

Anyway, this thread is about Vettel, so I shall now talk about him. Today, his performance was simply wonderful. Fair enough, he did not have the spray to deal with, but, even so, his pace was amazing and he handled the pressure extremely well. He did a good job of backing up the cars before the race start proper. His comments after the race pleased me as well. He sounds like a genuine character, doesn't complain and doesn't blow his own trumpet. Remember this Grand Prix. The racing was classic and we've seen a guy with the skill to win several word titles win his first Grand Prix.

Kovalainen should be absolutely ashamed himself. I'm disgusted that a McLaren driver should perform like that in a race-winning car and have the cheek to make excuses about it afterwards - shades of Alain Prost's pathetic comments after the 1993 European Grand Prix. The conditions were the same for everybody, Kovalainen was not the only one with problems and he was completely owned by Vettel and Hamilton - Hamilton who started the race practically from the back of the grid! Shape up, or ship out Kovalainen.

I'm really holding back here!
