I would also like to point out that I didn't see any sign of any of Vettel's relatives standing around getting credit for anything - or pouting about anything... just a thought.

I could close my eyes and pretend it was Michael again!

Just kidding (sort of), great drive today! He earned it!

Ain't that the truth - when was it the last time we heard the combo of the German and Italian anthem? Too long ago! :banghead:

SV may well rue his decision to drive for Red Bull next year...

indeed, that renult engine is poor, so the aero cant be too bad

how long are rb tied to renault, and when is it engines can be modified, renault need a better one!

Rumors have it that RB is looking into changing engine suppliers, but I thought I heard or read that they already signed up again with Renault?

i heard a rumour that Honda were to supply Torro Rosso with Ferrari supplying RBR next season but Torro Rosso will not share the same chassis next year as RBR so jumping ship to RBR would be the best move for SB to stay in the redbull family

a 1 year rbr contract is the best bet, could be in a top team the following year!

I think Theissen would certainly have cursed himself today. But I think that Heidfeld/Kubica is still a very strong driver pairing. In the last couple of races, Heidfeld has out-qualified Kubica and they've been fairly even in terms of race-pace. Kubica had the advantage of being able to select a long one-stop strategy due to not getting in to the third qualifying session yesterday.

I really want Kubica to stay in touch with Hamilton and Massa over the next few races. I know he probably won't win the title, but I want him to have a chance in the last round (whereby he'd probably have to win with Hamilton and Massa not finishing in the points).

I predict that BMW Sauber will have the best and most reliable engine-KERS combo next year and thus, will be the team to beat.

I didn't really pay much attention to this guy at the start of the season, but since then he has showed some great driving and I was impressed on a few occasions. I'm sure he can win many more races in his career too. He's also still very young so a big future in front of him. If I'm not mistaken, he is:
- the youngest driver to score a championship point
- the youngest driver to get pole position
- the youngest to win a Grand Prix race

I've been wondering that myself because Toro Rosso have improved much lately. You never know what it'll be like next season though.

But both teams had the same engine at the start of the season and only recently have Toro Rosso been outperforming their sister team. So it's not only the engine's difference.

I've been thinking that for sometime DD. Every year since they bought Sauber, BMW have set themselves a target for each season. And they have met every target. Next years target has to be the title - surely that may be met.
It is similar to Renault's plan when they bought over Bennetton.

Vettel in a Ferrari in 2011? After the 2 years at Red Bull?

I think Honda may be back next year - not a race winner, but up there in the points.

kubica was a bit lucky today to jump alonso and nh today, shows nh is till a solid driver, bmws drivers are still one of the best combos, nh seems to have found himself or something again of late
