I've had it with DC sadly. Great racer but his time is up. 6 points, 17th in the standings. Pretty poor. One of the reasons why we won't finish 4th.

its annoying when you have one good driver and one s*** one

Aye, Kazuki's been going backwards since his performance in the wet at Silverstone. If he keeps going backwards at this rate I'm hoping Sir Frank and Patrick sign Bourdais.

In the first half of the season, Nakajima was a candidate for rookie of the year, but, since then, he's done very little. To be honest, I think Rosberg was a little bit faster at him even at the start of the season, but Nakajima seemed to be able to drive a cool, collected race unlike most Japanese drivers. I think Rosberg has upped his game slightly. He is obviously spending less time in front of the mirror. Perhaps he could lend some advice to Piquet.

FM did pretty well for a guy everybody was deriding after Silverstone as a clown in the wet.
If he can get a podium tomorrow and LH doesn't score (big), the championship will be going down to the wire at FM's home race.

maybe once on the podium the stewards can manufacture another win for him

I'm thinking along the same lines. McLaren scored a massive own goal today. :censored:

Forza MINARDI!!!:ahahah:

I think a lot of people with all kinds of allegiances love days like this when the minnows get their 15 minutes. Frankly even though I was incandescent with Hamilton's problems the end result is that tomorrow's races is perfectly set up. Wet or dry we're guaranteed a good scrap with so many unfancied drivers so close to the front. I think it's a big day for Kovalainen though - he needs to finish ahead of Massa and there's no excuse if he doesn't.

Piquet lacks motivation, and he'll never do well unless someone or something motivates him.

It looks like Symonds' cattle prod isn't working on him. Maybe he's expecting Keeley Hazell to walk into his garage and "inspire him".

i think he has been prodded so many times that he is developing a tough hide thats impervious to the Patty prod!

Glock should be the one disappointed, he looked strong going into Q2 then kinda fell back.
I think people are banging on about Vettel (and rightfully so) but they mustn't forget Bourdais who is driving a car he claims isn't designed to suit his driving style. He did a solid job today to!

Brilliant drive by the Torro Rosso's and Webber tomorrow should be a very interesting race this has got to be the strangest grid I have ever seen and I missed the qualifying session.

Which is just what the FIA are trying to engineer.

LOL, the FIA couldn't have engineered what happened today, unless they got God's number or that...

They tied weights behind Lewis' car, told you they would!! It was in anticipation of a cut chicane to save having to debate the isuue after the event.

amazing qualifying, had to dip in and out because of the football but still top draw for excitement. hopefully it'll rain tomorrow, then the race really will be carnage. I'm expecting to see Lewis machete his way through the field, as long as he doesn't get involved in a crash on the first corner (perfectly likely if the conditions are like today). Massa was lacklustre to be honest, he should've been gunning for that pole position, and the fact he couldn't get anywhere near is yet another indication that he's average in the wet. Hamilton and the team made a bad decision, had he gone out on extremes in the first place in Q2 everything would've been different I'm sure, but no use crying over spilt milk. He's dug himself into a hole, and now he has to prove his class yet again.

Congratulations to Vettel and Bourdais, fantastic performances in the Toro Rossos.

Can't wait for the race tomorrow, could be chaos.

FM is driving for the championship, so no need to risk too much in quali when his main rivals didn't even make q3 - what good would it be to have to change the car or get it fixed or whatever after a spin in q3, huh? He drove very intelligently!
