Hi all,
It is wonderful that I have came to this website to share my passion for Formula 1 racing with all of you, and vice versa!
Nice to meet you all! Especially onelapdown! I read shanghaisam's thread and your reply was very helpful in describing the different scenarios driving in a F1 car.

Anyhow, given the recent events such as Kimi's lack of concentration, Massa's debatable win, and other many events, I suddenly came up with the thought of maybe Alonso could be driving for Ferrari and be successful at hold down Hamilton in his MP4-23?!

I have heard rumors about Alonso's move to Ferrari but that was quite a while ago, I haven't had found anything recently related to Alonso going to Ferrari.

What are your thoughts??

PS: I am a die-hard Ferrari fan.
PPS: GO MASSA!! Hopefully Massa can win the WDC, or Kimi...but Kimi probably have to win the last 5 races straight...

All the die hard Ferrari fans have already forgotten Kimi's title last year and want him out now

Great fans!

But Ferrari have confirmed no change for next season

Welcome to the forum, but how many times do people have to bring up this Alonso-Ferrari rumor?

Well I am in for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and their drivers, but given the current championship standings, things aren't looking too well with Kimi...
But of course, I REALLY want to see Kimi blow me away with another World Championship just like last year (same goes for Massa), but its sort of shaky how Kimi won the last year's championship (by 1 point).
Hamilton's DNF in 2007 Shanghai GP was pretty rare, and even if Kimi win it again this year by 1 or 2 points, who could say that Hamilton won't be dominant in 2009 or 2010 after he become more calm and exprienced?

I am just hoping that Ferrari can get a driver that can be consistent, and be a great driver. Both Massa and Kimi are fantastic drivers while I think Kimi need to pick up the slack from now on, big time.
Starting from Monza.

I guess the Singtel Singapore GP will be a GREAT GREAT race, looking forward to it!

Welcome to the forum! :wavey:

That is my favourite smiley. :D

We have already had a couple of topics raised like this before, but, with the dramas at Spa Frachorchamps, I am now actually going to respond to one of them.

First of all, I'd like to warn to you that anything that I say, particularly a guy named "bud" on this forum and some other McLaren Fans, like for instance "McLaren Fan" are gonna say things how we see it, especially after some things said in your thread, but aat the end of the day we are all still friends.

But, now I'm gonna bite, in a friendly way.

What the :censored: were you thinking with your PPS? A lot of people hate Massa right now, and I would never say that I hated him before Spa. :nono:

That aside, I would actually love to see Alonso at Ferrari. I hate Alonso, but I'm only just starting to bear him lately. But I want to see Hamilton v. Alonso. (again) In fact, I even wouldn't mind seeing Kimmi at McLaren again. (I'm gonna get shot with a comment like that. ) Seriously, what has Kimmi ever done to Hamilton, other than at Spa? I mean Spa was actual, genuine racing. I don't mind the contact that Kimmi gave Hamilton. It's not Kimmi's fault that Hamilton got the penalty. The problem lies within the FIA.

I hate Alonso, as much as I hate Ferrari, but I like Piquet. Put in Adrian Sutil into a Renault and they will be my favourite team, but Hammy will always be my favourite driver.

However according to my resources (AKA Wikipedia), some teams are already confirmed for next year:

Ferrari:

Raikkonen and Massa

McLaren:

Lewis Hamilton

Heikki Kovaleinen

BMW:

Kubica

Toyota:

Trulli

Glock

Red Bull:

Webber

Vettel

Williams

Rosberg

Force India

Fisichella
Apparently Sutil is also confirmed, but the link has expired on Wikipedia.

So the only likely places for Alonso are BMW, Williams, or perhaps Honda.

Hi welcome and good luck around here pal.
If FIAt had Steptoe and his dad driving that old horse and cart they would still win.
You can't beat a cheat, but you can kill them and eat their entrails.

Great you like Ferrari. So do I. But Fernando Alonso, I don't think he will be at Ferrari. Not at least until 2010 anyway.

Welcome to the forum.

In terms of the rumours about Alonso going to Ferrari, I'm not sure I see it happening for a while. Ferrari's driver line-up will be remaining the same for next season and other rumours and rumblings from the Ferrari camp suggest that they are more interested in Kubica or Vettel.
