0.4??

Ok you want to play the if games IF Kimi didnt force Lewis off lewis would have had 0.4 coming out of the corner

sour grapes dude :nono:

I said roughly you muppet, but he wouldnt be close enough to mount a challenge at La Source.

if he didnt take the off road they both would have retired, so your last comment is right paddy

That said, i wouldn't have expected anyone not to do what Hamilton did.

But still wouldn't make it right.

Come on! They were racing F1 cars in very difficult conditions. Not playing tiddley winks! Lewis was ahead at the corner but gave back the place anyway!

Yes, he was. Crucially, though, and the issue that is being made, is that he could not have made the move stick without cutting the corner, in the same way that he could not make the move on Vettel stick at Magny-Cours without doing the same. The difference here, though, is that he played by the rules, so in reality there should be no punishment.

As for the rest of this thread, it's slowly becoming about as entertaining as the European GP was. :)

So anyway, how come Alonso didn't get 3rd in the end? He was several places ahead of Heidfeld etc before the carnage and they both stopped... Did Heidfeld come in a lap earlier than him?

I think that Heidfeld was just a shade faster than Alonso, to be honest. Maybe he had a slightly shorter pit stop which contributed to him being able to get past, or maybe a little bit of traffic.

But Alonso must've had at least 25 seconds on Heidfeld, i think...? Hmm, impressive attack by him anyway! Was it only those two who pitted? I know Bourdais didn't... I haven't had time to catch up on this yet, it was so nuts!

Also, good effort by Sutil to get 13th, he beat a few respectable drivers today. I'm not sure what happened to Trulli after his spin... Although i think it was him who was really far up the pack, and then he got punted up the backside...
