Really Massa should of won in Hungary and be leading by now which that win would mean Ferrari would still have a good lead in the constructors.

This is incorrect. The problem once again is that this is talk about what should have been, but it's a biased should-have-been. It talks about what would have happened had Massa's engine not failed, but it doesn't make any mention of what would have happened had Hamilton not punctured a tire. You don't get to do this any more than someone can talk about what should have happened had Hamilton not blown a tire but Massa still gets to lose his engine.

Had Hamilton not had a tire puncture but Massa still lost his engine, Hamilton would surely have taken first place and Massa would have had zero points for the day. This should-have-been is just as fair as the previously-presented alternative with Massa winning and Hamilton still getting to blow a tire. Had neither failure happened, Massa would have gained ten points for the race, but Hamilton would have taken eight, even more than he got in reality, and Massa still wouldn't be ahead of Hamilton in the points.

Yes, Massa should have won in Hungary, and Hamilton should have been in second place right there beside him on the podium, in which case Hamilton would still lead Massa in the points. Instead, they'd be tied, 74 to 74.

Some rumours have been on the go recently that his attentions have not been fully focused on Formula One, mainly to do with his private life. Since then, he's come out and said he's not interested in women etc. as he wants to concentrate on his racing, which is a positive thing in my view. Aside from that, Sutil is still very prone to making silly errors and gaffes. I don't know why; momentary lacks of concentration or something? The guy clearly has a lot of talent. He's generally performed very well in wet or changeable conditions, like topping the time sheets at a rainy Monaco, for instance, but he seems to shoot himself in the foot not unfrequently. That's what I mean about application; if he applied the abundance of skill he had a lot better, he'd be a top drawer racing driver.

The guy is still young and only in his second Formula One season, though. He has plenty of time to mature. I seem to recall that it took Button a while to calm down with his private life. I'm sure next season he'll have settled down and gotten more focussed on the sport. :)

Well if that is the case then Lewis Hamilton got the better end of the bargin. I would of rather had his puncture and still finish and score points than Massa's blown engine and zero points.

I think Bourdais has done enough today to secure himself a drive at Toro Rosso for 2009, I'm happy for him, although he could have had even more. :)

Yes great race, great drive the hameroide. Bad luck Kimi, that's his year now over Ferrari will be backing Massa to the end.

I am not going to be surprised if there are some repercussions from their various shortcuts on the last 2 laps...

Brilliant final few laps. A great decision to bring in Heidfeld and get him onto inters I think Bourdais definately has done enough to keep his seat next year.

Dont believe it! stewards now looking at the overtake move. I somehow dont trust their decision making skills, specially this weekend!!

It's complete BS IMO. I can't see *why* they are investigating it...

The FIA give out more penalties than a Premiership referee at Old Trafford. At this rate McLaren should consider signing Christiano Ronaldo. :P

Lewis was just awesome at the end of the race, no way can they take this away from him

I thought Bourdais was going to be on the podium. :( Whatever atleast he got points and he was better then Vettel all weekend. I was a bit sad though that Kimi crashed tho. Well how about Heidfeld getting on the podium at the last second??
