Atlantis was not real haha

Are you certain about that? I have done much research on the subject to suggest otherwise. Although to you this may seem stupid but think of the following scenario. Lets say a catastrophie were to happen tomorrow and the world as we know were very much wiped out. Lets say that there are only 100 human survivors. These 100 people carry on to continue the human existance. All have knowlege of things like cars, skyscrapers, planes, astronomy, medicine etc. But none know how to build or implent these things. Also all accounts of written history would be destroyed with only limited knowledge held by the survivors. Within only a few generations all knowledge will be lost and be more the less the stuff of legend and story.......just like Atlantis. So once again how do you know Atantis never really existed?

How do you know it actually did? what research are you talking of? ive seen all the evidence put forward by the Atlantis researchers and theres nothing concrete at all!
its a European Myth with its basis in ancient greece with an eruption on a greco island!

Greek myth? That is what they taught you at school. Atalantis wasn't Greek. Eitherway talking about this with you is a waste of time. You are stubborn and wont listen to anything or anyone. You have looked at reaseach by one party only. I have looked at many, and the point of you of many different people. Like with everything, if one wants to be an expert, you need to study all aspects of the given topic. Thus going back to F1, I read books and material also on McLaren as well as Ferrari. I wish to not waste my intelligence over this matter with people who have a limited mindset like yourself. Stick to racing as it is probably all you know anyway.

What they show you on TV is so limited. What they teach at uni likewise is so limited. Whatever. You are no competition for me here. You are way out of your league. Oh and the face of Mars is no trick of light. That is what they want you to believe. I guess it is all coincidence as the exact longitude and lattitude positioning of Cydonia on Mars is the same as the co-ordinates of Giza, Egypt on Earth.

Oh and I don't need to resort to personal inmature comments such as telling someone where to go. I prefer an intelligent conversation. If you don't agree with me then that is ok. Cant you just say that in a nice way......

Ok so I kind of guessed this video would cause some discussion, but I never guessed it would be about Atlantis! I do believe there was an ancient civilisation and that it did either sink or flood, however not nearly as advanced as suggested.

As for the defence against a asteroid 500km in diameter the options are very few. Simply blowing it up would not work as this would just fragment the asteroid (plus how do you blow something up thats 500km across?!). An object that large would also be impossible to move off course do to the sheer amount of force required to do so.
So how do you stop it? Well one option is hope that Jupiter steps in and takes the hit for us. This may sound crazy but the evidence suggests this has happened many times before as Jupiter has a very large gravity field so attracts objects much more than the earth.
The final option is complete vaporisation. A lump of anti-matter roughly 6ft across would combine with the matter of the asteroid and convert to pure energy leaving nothing behind.

On the subject of re-building civilisation if it did hit . . . . there would be nothing to re-build. The survival of bacteria would be uncertain with such a collision, so no need to worry about that! As the video suggests, their may have been 6 collisions like this in the past, but what it doesn't say is that these were mainly back during the formation of the solar system and all before life had started on Earth

I am not scared to be mocked. It is just that other users of the forum don't want to read all the stuff we are writing and pity little arguments by myself and Bud. I am more concerned that this is getting out of hand. Regarding Wikipedia, it is limited when it comes to "occult" research. If you search things like Astral Travel, Scientific Remote Viewing etc, there isn't much on it at all.
