Surely there must be enough Metallica fans on here to make it worth a whole thread...

So the new album has leaked, and i downloaded it - it's absolutely brilliant. Makes up for St. Anger, and then some. :yes:

Anyone else heard it/getting the album when it comes out? :D

Never been a big enough fan of their's to buy a CD or see them in concert but I do like quite a few of their song's.

It is amazing, Metallica are back. Unforgiven 3 kicks bottom too :P

I don't think that they are trying to live up to the expectations of this album. Bands always change through time. At least this step is in the right direction.

Yes it is nice to still have them around and rocking just as hard as their previous album's.

Yep, it's almost like they've combined the sounds of they've ever done on this one. Some stuff is the old thrash metal influence but modernised, the Unforgiven III could've easily fitted on Load imo, and you can hear the Justice era prog metal in parts too.
