Yes, the USA seems to turned hypocrisy into an art. On the issue of race, however, a lot of progress has been made, but there's still a way to go.

First off I must reply to the OP, WTF!! Why do you bringup the past of which THIS generation MY generation, post baby boomer's, had nothing to do with? I have friend's, no sorry let me rephrase that, I have brother's and sister's who come from a variety of ethnic background's, race's, color's or creed's, take your pic I dont care.
