Just as it says...

You may not know that today marks the tenth anniversary of the Omagh Bomb, the single-worst incident in "the Troubles" in Northern Ireland. Twenty-nine people were killed and many hundreds more were injured. The 500-pound bomb struck on a busy summer Saturday when people were out shopping on the main street in the market town. The attackers called in a bomb threat but gave police the wrong location for the bomb, leading authorities to evacuate people from the center of town to the end of the street, right where the bomb went off.

Even though those not directly involved with the bombing can never feel the pain of those whose family and friends were injured or killed in the bombing, it shocked everybody in Northern Ireland, for the troubles as a whole have affected all of us in some way and because we are such a small country. Watching the television coverage of the remembrance service today and seeing various images of the atrocity brought tears to my eyes.

RIP. :(

RIP to all the victims. :(

The way the terrorists' plan was executed shows pure evil at work. I could go on a huge rant here but won't, so i'll just merely say that i hope they rot in hell. Completely disguting.
