Go Britain, Go Britain

I just watch any of the sports as I feel more drawn 'cos I am cheering my guys on, most looking forward to the Equestrian tho' obviously, but I also like watching the Swimming, Gymnastics, and Running, but saying that I will watch anything.

FORZA ITALIA, FORZA ITALIA, FORZA ITALIA. They are doing very well in all sports including swimming. And in the football Italy has already reached the quarterfinals. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Italy will play Belgium in that.:clap::clap: Now if Slovenija could just win at least one medal, that would be so cool as well.

The Chinese 'women' gymnists look like they are 12. I think they should have an age requirement of 16 or 18.

It IS 16 years, except for these Olympics where the rule is: a gymnast must have a birthdate before January 1, 1993. So, the youngest you can be is 15 years +

The looks are due to not the least the hard training (and other methods), which stunts growth, delays hormonal maturity, etc. - all intended to provide an advantage in competition.

Did you read my post?? That's exactly what I'm saying - their hormones haven't kicked in (artificially delayed), they haven't reached puberty, or at least some of them haven't because of the way they train, eat, and what not.

The Olympics start at 2 am here. When all the finals are I may add. I had to wake up 4 o'clock in the morning just for the Phelps swim.
