so founding member wouldnt you say you are infact influenced by the media?? you have hatred of a guy who you base your opinion on.... guess what.... through the media or have you met this arrogant w***er in person. Yeah your point of view is so different to the fans... Its nice Lewis has some effect on you

Oh, you misunderstand my intentions completely. I am not at all concerned over whether or not LH knows he's an arrogant twit. I couldn't care less if he changes his ways or not either. This is an internet forum. That means we discuss things here. We (all of us except perhaps you) do not believe we can influence a sports direction or change a snot nosed brat into a humble and fantastic kid like his team mate just by typing something in here. I don't pay attention to the media either, I simply watch the race, watch and/or read LH's own words and then decide for myself. For instance, I really liked LH when he first came on the scene. A clean cut kid with a darker skin tone who had skills....but then he opened his mouth. Then he ignored team orders for his own benefit. Basically, he acted like....well...some of his fans do. So, now I'm not a fan. My choice. You can feel free to make yours.
Note though, that I'm not a red flag carrying hater of all things McLaren. I cheered Heikki on after Massa gave it up (who I am also no large fan of) and I laughed hysterically as he pulled over and stopped (though he did run a great race). In fact, I'm a fan of the sport....not one driver or a single team. I would be just as happy to see Heikki win the WC as Kimi, Kubica or Alonso. I race with guys who sport lots of money and attitudes like LH's all the time...they always have an excuse for why their car with triple the money in it....lost anyway. Always someone elses fault, rules or team instructions are for other people. Drivers like that feel they are special, though often they are not. They feel others should step aside just because they managed to catch up to your bumper, even if you are conserving your tires and only going fast enough to keep them behind you...if you don't move, they punt you. LH being told to let Alonso out in front of him by the team, and instead going out early and thumbing his nose at team orders....that told me all I need to know about his mindset. I never have liked that type of person, and not likely to start just because he's a brit and you think he walks on water. If his attitude matures to match his driving skill (which I think is on par with, though no better than the majority of the grid) then I will give him another look...as a fan of the sport, not just because of his nationality.
