F1 is soley owned by CVC Capital Partners after the private equity firm bought up shares from Bernie Ecclestone and the remaining 14 per cent from bank Lehman Brothers. I'm worried that such a move could lead to the sport becoming overly commercialised, possibly introducing stupid new rulings. Am I off the mark?

Overly commercialized? No, you don't say! C'mon, F1 is already the most commercialized sport in the world thanks to BE's dealing and wheeling over the past, oh, twenty years or so! It's going to be more of the same in the future. And unfortunately, not much hope for an increased role of women/babes and their goods in F1 with the circus increasingly stopping at muslim or other regressive/repressive countries...
