All the F1 teams(yes all, including ferrari-good old Stephano  ) have agreed together to write their own new concorde agreement. Ive not read this , just been told about it but its on the BBc website. so im about to have a look. Not sure where it leaves the FIA, I think the teams will negotiate with them. I guess bernie will have to too. Interesting

Hasn't Max came out saying he wants the FIA to have a very large say on how F1 is run?
Think the FIA and the teams will surely want to see a bit more Revenue going their way instead of into CVC and Bernie's pockets.

I think the teams need to have more say in the regulations. FIA should be employed by them to guard and enforce those regulations fairly. It's good they formed their own association, it should help them in negotiations with Bernie, as they will have a more unified view.

Aye, that is true. Need to stick together though for this to happen. I hope relations between the teams don't break down. But these things can never be set in stone. Certainly I can see the likes of Williams being tempted over to the FIA, much like what happened with the GPWC.

The teams want to encroach upon the territories of the FIA and the FOM. Mosley and Ecclestone both will be very pissed off about this. Perhaps they could call a truce to combat a common enemy, i.e. the teams. Domenicali seems a decent guy. It's good to see Ferrari considering Formula One as a whole rather than just themselves for a change.

Im really pleased the teams have got together like this but the worry, as you pointed out, is that it will reunite Ecclestone and Mosely. If the teams stay together they should be ok, F1 is nothing without them and Max is somewhat weakened at the moment. When negotiatin with him just pull a whip out of your pocket :hehe::hehe:

The teams setup another team body to do it - yay another acronym to remeber - FIA, FOM, FOCA just what F1 needs is another body to try and make things 'better'
