To be honest i don't see how Sunday's result would have been altered much if there were different Safety Car rules. Piquet still would've pitted before it came out and made track position.

thats what i was thinking, Piquets result would have happened in the old system or any system for that matter!

he pitted just before the safety car while others infront did so during thus they lost track position.

i think Marks just abit peeved Piquet got a podium

What would Mark want? if the safety car comes out everyone goes back to the order and time gap just before the SC?

I understand with being peeved about the pitlane being closed during the SC but you cant stop guys 1 stopping getting lucky with the SC

Mark is bitter that he didn't benefit from the SC and he wouldn't be ranting if he did. The system may need tweaking however I don't think you should get an advantage from the SC

More rubbish from this man! Does he ever stop complaining or blaming somebody else for his ills? When Vettel crashed into the back of him last season, it was completely Vettel's fault. A couple of days later, Hamilton was 100% to blame for the crash. Then, last week, it was Vettel's fault again. That really shows him for the hypocrite he is. This season's safety car rules are absurd, but that's the only thing with which I agree. Go away, Mark.

Many times someone has benefitted from the safety car, why the issue because it's someone further down the grid?

He's right that something has to be done about the safety car rules but leave Piquet out of it.

I would be too, especially a driver who is probably the worst on the grid. I wouldnt say that to the media though.

I think Webber would have been more unhappy if he had managed to get up to second via the safety car because his engine blew.

Mine too. Shame. he was my second favourite driver to Juan Pablo at one time. That is praise indeed!!
