I personnaly don't have problem with team orders and I do believe that all teams have them.

Also, I don't have an issue with wether or not McLaren has team orders or not.

What I hate the most is when HK let LH pass him so easily that it was obvious.

If HK wants LH to pass, it's fine with me because he knows LH was faster but for us the fans we don't like to be cheated.

At least put on some "show" with a little fight and then let him by. I'll buy that more and it'll be more fun to see some racing between the 2 McLarens. That's all...

You werent cheated you got to see lewis go on to make two excellent overtaking moves . Would you have prefered he sat behind Heikki running over a second off his pace and ensuring a processional treck to the flag with him finishing 4th and Heikki 3rd?? Make that 5th and 4th because he would then have been vulnerable to Heidfeld as Heiki was. That would have been a great scenario, real sensible of heikki if he'd held up lewis in such a way :rolleyes:

Heiki was NO WHERE NEAR fast enough at that point in time for you to see "racing between the 2 Mclarens". He wont always be off the pace but he was then. You saw racing between the 2Mclarens in the opening laps of Silverstone before Heikki's tyres went off. The battle was not called of then because they were both the same pace.

I think most of us preferred that he worked for it or make it seem like he worked for it.

He worked for the next 2 places or are you suggesting they were also under orders to move over for lewis? Heikki was in no state to fight so why risk holding up lewis or taking them both off??

i have no problem with these team orders what i have a problem with is when one guy is capable of being infront of his team mate by merit but is told to move aside.

 I completely agree.

.

Yes I think you do get it Mike. I see no evidence in your posts of base stupidity :loopy::nuts: , just plenty of evidence of an accomplished wind-up merchant! :groucho::wink:

I've been wound up since the end of the race and have tried to avoid being here. I guess some mught like that. (The avoiding being here part that is). Massa's not putting up a fight part is what wound me up, (dispite the reason being his brakes it still winds me up knowing it was Ferrari's fault in the end that Massa couldn't put up a fight). I had to mute the volume just as Lewis Hamilton crossed the line so I wouldn't hear the commentator say, "Lewis Hamilton wins the German Grand Prix". :( I slept not so good that night. Anyway Sir Nightmare's pass on Heikki was 100 percent legit given the circumstances all have already discussed. And even if it was a case of Heikki being as quick as Lewis Hamilton, I would of seen it as a smart move from McLaren to give the team order for Heikki to move over. At the end of the day only Lewis Hamilton can win the drivers title for McLaren so a Ferrari/Schumacher type tactic by McLaren would be a smart and intelligent move by McLaren and Ron Dennis.

I wish the driver's/team's could just race and may the best and smartest one win. The MAN is alway's trying to keep a brotha down!

bud I have never doubted your passion or knowledge about F1 but quite frankly sometime's you go alittle overboard. You see no wrong in the same team tactic's when McLaren perform's them and WIN but god forbid Ferrari does the EXACT same thing, place them one the crucifix and may God have mercy on their sole.

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING !

Unfortunately, racechick, you claim that others don't get it but somehow that's your case. :banghead: If you read and "understood" what I said you wouldn't have replied and made false claims. :nono:

I didn't say that I would prefer the following scenario: "Would you have prefered he sat behind Heikki running over a second off his pace and ensuring a processional treck to the flag with him finishing 4th and Heikki 3rd?? "
As a matter of fact I said that "If HK wants LH to pass, it's fine with me because he knows LH was faster ". That was the right move by HK.

I didn't want HK to block LH and race him till the end and risk crashing into each other. But did he have to come almost to a stand still. Couldn't HK slow down a bit on the stretch and make it look more "normal" for LH to overtake him.

I have no doubt in my mind that had Ferrari done that (and I'm no Ferrari fan) you would be so furious and please don't say no because you would be lying to yourself! :wavey:

AAAAAARRRGH!! How many more time s do folk nead to hear it.
Obviosly quite some. Ok, one last time

If the driver in front is slower, I have no problem with the faster driver being let past, particularly in a chamiponship fight. And i dont care if its Ferrari , McLaren or Froce India. If a faster driver is ordered to slow down and let a slower one throutgh then I do have a problem with it and again that applies to any team.
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT??????

Heikki was obviosly not fast enough to take on Lewis why should he make a pretence of fighting? Is that not more of an insult to knowledgeable fans??
