does anyone agree but recently after seeing his body language and attitude over the team radio in interviews and on the podium lately i think maybe it he is,
i am an hamilton fan, but that mey well change if if he gets to much like this.

Hamilton has always been arrogant and cocky, much of which is being caused by his arrogant, control-freak father. I don't like Hamilton's personality and some of the things he's done at McLaren (for instance, the secret talks with Williams), but as a driver he is class. He still has a lot to learn yet, but he has all the raw materials.

What crap is this?

I'm sorry, I tried to think of something but there's absolutely no reasonable reply to such a topic, do you think an F1 driver or any sportsman in the top level of their sport might have a bit of an ego? How it comes across to fans is how well they can hide it and that is something that I would say going straight into a top team has disadvantaged him.

The secret talks with Williams? Have I been living on the moon? Didn't know about that.

I like sportsmen who are arrogant and cocky, it;s not about taking part, it's about winning. I think the difference with Hamilton is, he does it subtly. He knows he's great but at the same time tries to keep the goody goody image. That said, I like him, although I could never support him. He gets a lot of undeserved flack imo, but does need a smidgen of media training.

He needs my boot up his arse... then he'd learn.

Hamilton has pulled off back to back epic wins. I think if there's anyone on earth entitled to do the "who's the man" gestures right now, it's surely Lewis.

Yeah, but when Schumacher did it and jumped it was like fair doos.
And its the same with any driver. Just he'll follow it up soon with some dumb wise crack. If he didn't do that i'd maybe tolerate him

Not necessarily, stonemonkey. Personally, I like the fact that Kubica hasn't shown off at any point of the year when he's got a good result, even in Montreal where he took his and the team's first win. Comments he makes in press conferences and interviews also add to the reason I like him. In one particular conference, he said something about having a roof over his head and a bed to sleep in (or was it food to eat?) and he'd be happy.

I like a driver to have a fun side to them, but not to be an arse about their talent. One of the reasons I liked Mika Hakkinen so much. :)

He's young, talented, and surrounded by yes men. He shouldn't change his personalty for you or me, like him or hate him, he is what he is. To shut him up, beat him otherwise his grin will get bigger and bigger..

If he is what he is, why does he try (and fail) to cover up his personality? Hamilton is a fierce and selfish competitor. All of this "I love McLaren" act is trash.
