WOO YA

Okay my driver assessment

Lewis- Great Race, great recovery, added points to my team and also to the fact of the championship, so yeah, he did his job

Nelson- Well the strategy worked for him so well, and blimey if he had won, was nice to see Massa and Lewis congratulating him

Massa- Well what a awful moment when Lewis overtook him, he just gave it to him with open hands, but again I like him, and he still felt happy with his third place

Heidfeld- Well hes back isn't he

Heikki- Really wanted a better result, Yes Lewis was quicker, but Heikki let him past, was it the team telling him or was it Heikki giving Lewis the chance. Maybe I am Heikki's bad luck :irked:

Vettel- Good race, pushed hard though I don't think Alonso was at all happy with him.

Raikkonen- Got nothing to say really

First 30 laps were Meh and then it got good, maybe they didn't put Hamilton when all the other teams did, just incase he hit one :hehe:

Todays race did nothing but give Hamilton the momentum to become this years world champion. There is nothing to stop him now. Personally I feel Mclaren have jumped Ferrari, especially under Hamilton and it is his championship to lose.
Hamilton is a talent, and he certainly is the man of the moment. Even though he still makes mistakes, he has to be favourite now.
That doesn't mean I like him :P

I don't want to piss people off again, but Ferrari have been on a downer since Schumi retired, they won last years title due to the infighting at Mclaren. Now that infighting has gone, the Mclaren development power house has overtaken Ferrari and their 2 drivers are getting panned.
Isn't Kimi on £25 + a year? Im not gonna dispute Kimi's driving, but he seems to have no answers. If he can't set the car up correctly, how the heck will he help Ferrari to move another step forward?

BMW have fallen back, though over a long stint they still have the pace. But their title tilt seems over, Renault, Red Bull and Toyota seem to be able to match them over a single lap.

I said earlier the title would be decided on who could pull out a string of victories. If Hamilton wins in Hungary, there may be no stopping him

It was funny watching it on Fox when they showed a shot of Ron Dennis flipping switches on the control board I guess and a second later we saw Heikki letting Lewis by. It was so obvious, regardless of who's faster at least make it look more legit.

Great race by Lewis proving that at times he is as good as the press make him out to be. Massa should embarrassed with himself as he was on the podium with a podium with a huge grin on his face! Doesn't he realize he is in a Ferrari? 3rd ain't good enough buddy! Massa should have won it but once again he is shown up to be a driver and not a racer. Ferrari should sign Alonso ASAP!

I'm sorry but with your posts Rive' all I can see is a women's arse :hehe:

I can barly constuct a sentnc as i cant tkae my eyyees of thatt arrsee! :D

Back to scoring a decent amount of points. If got his qualifying sorted, he could start to get podiums and maybe a win!

I was surprised that so many thought the race started slowly. I thought it was pretty good. There was a fair amount of overtaking and close racing going on as the cars were not spaced out as much as usual.

Here's what I said on another thread about Raikkonen in comparison to Schumacher:
Raikkonen has the ability, but his attitude is wrong, his work ethic is shocking and he is not a leader. Whilst Schumacher would be knocking his pan in, keeping fit and doing a lot of testing and development work, Raikkonen would be drinking away his talent and complaining that the car wasn't good enough but failing to put any solutions on the table. Raikkonen can drive what he's got very fast, but he is not willing to make it go much faster. Schumacher can drive what he's got pretty fast (possibly being a tenth slower than an on-form Raikkonen) but can also make his equipment go faster. Schumacher brings more to the party than just raw speed. Ferrari, despite the Ross Brawns and Rory Byrnes of this world leaving, still have a great technical team who are busting their arses out to win. They are not, however, getting the same commitment - and, thus, information - back from Raikkonen. Formula One is a team game and it requires all components of your team to be functioning well. Schumacher did a lot I don't agree with and his fans say a lot about him that I don't agree, but I respected him, for he was always up front about his faults and you knew he was giving 120% all of the time.

In other words, Ferrari made the wrong choice and are being ripped off.

BMW have fallen back, though over a long stint they still have the pace. But their title tilt seems over, Renault, Red Bull and Toyota seem to be able to match them over a single lap.

I think they are more worried about next year, to be honest.

Vettel is kind of a dirty driver, he doesnt give anyone room because from what they've shown on tv he didnt give Glock any room and obviously Alonso.

Agreed. They must breed them like that in Germany. :hehe:

Those buttons are pushed God knows how many times throughout a Grand Prix. Ron Dennis could have been talking to the Pope for all you know. Team orders are banned in Formula One. If McLaren had of told Kovalainen to let Hamilton by, Hamilton would have been disqualified by now and the team punished as well.

Massa should have won it but once again he is shown up to be a driver and not a racer. Ferrari should sign Alonso ASAP./quote]
Massa should have won it? More like he should have stolen it. Thankfully, justice prevailed and McLaren's speed and Hamilton's ability were rewarded.

Was his steering wheel and/or column faulty as well?

Maybe Schumacher taught that to him :hehe:
