something really cool i discovered in google earth the other day is the the street views feature. by clicking on the camera icons you can go down into a cylinder and view the area using pan and tilt, and then hop to the next cyliner. Every inch of the earth can be viewed from any road, street and highway in most cities.

Google Earth is brilliant. It's great if you are going to somewhere completely unknown, giving you a better view than a map.

google earth is cool but not always that recent- last time i checked the new hockenhiem track layout wasnt on their satellite pics and its been a few years since that was changed. It would be nice if the maps were updated more often
