I know the BBC are bound to be looking for someone to suck Lewis' co*k on their behalf but I don't think that kind of thing is David's cup of tea to be honest.

I cried my eyes out when Michael retired. I like David but I think I'll be able to contain myself. I'll miss him tho, he's a great personality.

I cried with happiness when Micheal retired, sorry, I don't dislike him because he drove for Ferrari, that is nothing to do with it as I like Massa and suppose I can't dislike Kimi for the years he did with Mclaren. Yes Micheal was a good driver but to me he was a cheat also at times, besides I got bored of him always winning

Typical McLaren fan...

The only thing that got boring about Michael winning all the time was people moaning about it...

It was pretty predictable that he was going to retire at the end of this year, but nonetheless I wish him best for the future. He's made us all smile (France 2000, Portugal 1994), laugh (Adelaide 1995, Monaco 2001 and countless interviews with Louise Goodman) but it is sure going to feel strange without him next year.

Well I'm quiet sure you would of gotten bored if a Mclaren driver kept on winning

Typical Ferrari fan.... :vomit:

He will be missed

And now it's rampant speculation time. Who will Red Bull get to replace him?

Yeah. To be honest, Formula 1 without Schumacher still feels weird to me. When Barrichello, Fisichella and Trulli retire, the sport will feel so strange because nobody that was around when I first started watching will be around anymore. It's a shame that DC is retiring, seeing as RBR have a huge shot at being massively competitive next year.

I'm quite sure that young Vettel will get the drive, with perhaps Ant Davidson moving into the spare STR seat or maybe Sebastian Buemi. I'd like it to be Davidson, though, because I think he could put that car in the top ten like Vettel has done. The Vettel/Webber pairing would, I think, be quite formidable with a quality car.

Rumour has it that Berger is hoping Senna drives for Toro Rosso next year or even better BMW as Senna has apparently opened talks with Dr Mario.

I honestly think that Bruno coming into F1 next season could be disastrous. He doesn't have that much professional racing experience and I can't help thinking that, not only may he not be ready, but also that it will be because of his name rather than talent and achievements at this stage.

I think BMW Sauber's best bet would be to build a car that suits both of their current drivers well-enough. That way, Kubica can go out and take the victories, whilst Heidfeld can back him up with consistent podium places and the odd win here and there.
