GERMANY SHOULD OF WON!



Suppose it was safer for my sister that Spain won as she is in Holiday in Spain and was surrounded by football crazed people

I'm sorry to say but the Germans played not to spec - they looked tired, unmotivated, a shadow of themselves. It was a rather boring final, but that's the norm anyway. Next time hopefully they'll be better

I don't know how the Germans got so far by playing so poorly, especially with their "defence". Usually German teams are generally unspectacular to watch, but get the job down. Their efforts in Euro 2008 took that theory to an all new-level.

That may have been true in the past, but just at the last world cup, their game was spectacular and earned praise from all sides - alas, they didn't win in the end. That experience raised hopes for this year's Euro cup, but they failed to deliver for the most part and deservedly lost the final.

Ah I think Germany haven't had a great side since Euro 96. It's the same with England.
International football is hurt by the rise and rise and rise of club football and leagues.
I mean the EPL is the best in the world (financially at least), but England can't play as a team.

Everyone in germany is kinda disenhearted by the loss, but at least the general attitude is of recognition and respect for the winners and accepting the loss. Spain was a very very strong team.
