I know but this season doesn't contribute a lot to the team ? is this sign of aging lol? BMW needs point a lot of point to prove they are competitive

I think it more a sign of a car completely designed around his team mate, and a shift in the focus to Kubica. Maybe his BMW days are numbered?

they say that, but I never believe F1 teams are ever entirely impartial. Kubica is their future, they need to do what they can to hold onto him.

Heidfeld was never really a quick driver. His game is more about being consistent, cool under pressure, and nursing the car. In other words, when races are not chaotic or particularly harsh on tyres, he will be beaten by guys with more speed than he. Also, Formula One cars are more reliable than they've ever been, so one can afford to give them a lot more punishment than the past. So, again, a guy like Kubica will shine.

Think that's came with age. I remember him being super quick back in F3000 and the early years, even in Williams.

I don't want spread any rumors but BMW might look for another driver next season ? if situation will continue ?

Maybe, maybe not. It's a marginal call.

He just doesn't have the one lap speed (ie. in qualifying) which seems to be crucial in this era of F1.

Look at Webber and Trulli - both superior over a lap compared to their team mates - both doing much better in the championship.

He wees his pants in the car, he admitted it ages ago, it was discussed on here. I think this is why he isnt doing very well. his mechanics are getting fed up with it :laugh::laugh:
