Is it just me that think's the only reason BMW is behind Ferrari and McLaren is their aerodynamics? Their package seems to be all about downforce and not speed?

they do have the most winglets out of the top 3 which would make them least aero efficient. which would explain the removal of the nose horns in Canada for some straight line speed down the long straight there.

as for the times hard to say with Fridays as per usual, but if you take anything from it Ferrari look to have the upper hand here.

Lewis' only hope for a podium is if it rains

Well, a safety car or two could help him catch up race leaders. Rain and tires change timing as well... but it would be a miracle.

I'm a bit of disappointed with Heiki, I'm getting a feeling he has already gave up for this season. Aside from, his qualifying was far from perfect; and he didn't have to compromise with race strategy.

Lewis has to take risks, he's got little to loose so he has to go risky strategy and risky moves :skidmarks: . Heiki needs to step up and try for a good result, its his chance to show what he can do and he needs to take points of the other title contenders. :driving: That purely a view from the Hamilton/McLaren point of view of course

Yeah my good friend "The Nightmare" got 3rd on the grid, oops make that 13th. Hopefully he tries too hard and stuffs up and the 2 cars that start 1st and 2nd on the grid finish that way. :hehe:

LOL! I thought of you! Dream qualfying for you. A 1,2 with nightmare boy out the way. Bet he'd have had one of them at the first cornes if he'd stayed 3rd. Got a job on his hands from 13th! I wouldnt count him out completely though, yes he could stuff up trying but he could do one of his magic drives, :ahahah:

You thought of me, why thankyou.
Btw I am having nightmares of Hamilton carving his way through the field already.

Hmm should I bother watching the qualifying after a long day at work and after finding out the results...... :irked:

Anything can happen during the race. The fact that Hamilton is starting 13th for unkown reasons is making me more nervous than if he were to start in his real qualifying position of 3rd. Weird but it is how I am feeling. :?

Just sounds to me like Lewis made a small error and is heavier :headbang:
And STILL close to the ferraris

Agreed.

Lewis je moja nočna mora.:eek: (Lewis is my nightmare).

I can't believe McLaren didn't appeal against Kovalainen's penalty! :x

Seriously, there wasn't really anywhere he could have gone (other than completely off the track) that would have been safe for him and any of the drivers around him.

thats true it is kind of odd for mclaren to just let that one go, but then again it wasnt hamilton so they probably didnt notice

Well, if they aren't going to stand up for themselves when they aren't in the wrong, they deserve to lose positions like that. Seriously, they're just handing Ferrari the championship lead. Both of their drivers are starting outside of the top eight already and, with drivers like Trulli, Alonso, Webber and Coulthard in front of them, as well as both BMW Saubers, it's going to make their race a tough one.
