You know it's funny that as I watched qualifying I saw nothing that would have made myself give anyone a penalty and I normally spot a problem, issue or infraction before the commentators or anyone else does?

The penalty is ludicrous and should be appealed.

I seen a replay of it, and at the time I thought Nakajima was more to blame, like Heikki was trying to move out of the way of Webber, but Naka went to overtake him, thus holding Webber up?

Unless Nakajima was on a timed lap and therefore Heikki sadly held both drivers up?

the penalty on heikki was a bit harsh, i read the penalty was for blocking webber but Nakajima def seemed to be in the thick of it as well and heikki was def trying to get out of the way - but the stewards saw it differently i guess.
Well with some luck the mighty Mclarens might pick up some points but it will be a tough race

McLaren: Hamilton could have had pole

Lewis Hamilton could have claimed pole position on Ferrari’s home turf had it not been for a “sub-optimal” lap and a race strategy befitting his penalty. That is the verdict of McLaren Team Principal Ron Dennis.

Ron shut the :censored: up and stop wasting everyones time with your air pollution!

I feel bad for the BMWs not coming to terms with the track surface or whatever their problem is.

McLaren are in disarray at the moment. They'll get some point and that's it.

Right now Ferrari are in a groove. They'll be smart to try to keep in touch with it and build on it to keep the momentum for the rest of the season(This is what I had hoped BMW could achieve after Canada). That'll keep them at the pointy end and make it much easier to get the titles. McLarten would nee a race or two just to get in this posion, and then start with the momentum, so they're in a catchup mode.

I respect RD alot but as of late some of his comment's are a sure sign of dementia setting in. :P

Just sounds to me like Lewis made a small error and is heavier :headbang:
And STILL close to the ferraris

Yeh he made a small mistake in Canada as well :nono: and he could not of been any closer to Kimi either :hehe:

Have a look at Hammy's famous last words: The Ramiltons hit 30

On a serious note I think Hammy will have the drive of his life & make the podium or he will crash trying too hard.

Yes I agree with your last point.
Todays error was not in the league of canada or else he wouldnt have been third on the grid. The other McLaren was 5th

Prediction! Crash start involving cars 10 to 14 and follow on unpredictable drama.
LH is a good solo driver but not a champion; his own late statements confirming that he is not up to it.
Poor Denis must be thinking hard………….

He's halfway through his second year. Give him chance. did you check the results of his previous formula's? Champion champion champion
