I just saw the highlights of the Turkey Czech game, youd be spewen if youre a Czech to lose from where they did!
abit off topic but i dunno how Turkey can even be in the Euro championships when geographically 99% of Turkey is apart of Asia

Yep I watched the whole game. Feel sorry for the Turks though as now they will face Croazia and lose

And Bud I understand your point about Turkey being 1% in Europe, but at least they are in 1% of Europe. Israel (Which participated in the Euro qualifiers) is 0% in Europe. How are they allowed to be in Europe?

It was because Turkey had used all 3 substitutes already. If it had happened earlier in the game, what would of been done is that Turkey would of substutited a player (Probably a forward) for a second goal keeper, to replace the keeper that was sent off, but still would of been down to 10 men.

I guess now I am going to have to go for Deutschland against the Turks. I am so annoyed at how the Turks won that it isn;t funny. The score when the game was actually over to equalise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is right 1 more minute of time added on in the 2nd part of extra time and the Croatians are winning. Then the Turks score within 4 seconds after the 1st minute is up or inside the 2nd minute of time added on which means the game should of been over. Cheats! And then it had to go to a penalty shootout that shouldn't of ever happened the Turks won. So for this insult I hope the Germans beat the Turks.

On the bright side at least if Italy happens to beat Spain and get further than Croatia, I guess I can tease mama.

Vamos Italia!!! I hope for a German/Holland final. I hope Italy knock the stuffing out of Spain but I know that's not gonna happen. So I just hope Spain's poor defence is shown for what it really is against Holland, crap!

Don't worry, Germany will take care of Turkey. Turkey will have a day less of rest, they had a gruelling long battle against Croatia, so they will be extra tired. Plus, a lot of their regular lineup won't be allowed to play due to yellow cards, etc.
Even though I'll be rooting for Russia against the Dutch, it could well come to a Germany - Netherlands final, wouldn't THAT be somtin'?

And Italy are not favorites to beat Spain but I wouldn't be surprised if Italy beat them and then play Russia and lose to them. This is all ridicuous. That scenario sounds good to me but Toni is going to have to start putting a few away first & then Italy will give it a good shake.

If your prediction is correct, ie Germany Vs Italy, then let us hope that it will be a repeat of the 1982 World Cup final where Italy bet Germany 3-1.

Italy has a good track record against Germany. In their last 2 encounters Italy has won as well. The last 2 being in 2006, one being the World Cup semi final where Italy won 2-0 and the other a friendly prior to the world cup where Italy won 5-1. However in this latest European Championship it looks like track records have been blown out the window. Italy has had a poor record against France and not won against France since the 70s. (Don't count the World Cup final which Italy only bet France in a penalty shootout). But in Euro 2008 bet France 2-0. And Holland also handn't bet Italy since the 70's but again in this Euro defeated Italy 3-0. I just hope if the final of Euro 2008 is Germany and Italy that that track record does not change.

Holland . Gotta say i'm pleased that Van Der Sar is still staying one more year at Utd. His performance yesterday and throughout the whole tournament was immense.
