The perfect line up in my view would be Martin Brundle and David Croft as the main commentators. Just don't hire Tamara Eccelstone to do the behind the scenes interviewing... please. Anyone remember the ITV pre season special where she interviewed Kimi on a Ski lift... you could just imagine Kimi thinking "Your sh*t, fu*k off!" whilst she was helplessly trying to conduct a half decent interview.

That interview was cringeworthy. I felt sorry for Raikkonen, as well as Massa and the other Ferrari staff.

The BBC sport F1 coverage team has been already announced...

Presenting: Claire Balding
Analysis: Alan Hansen
Commentating: Jonathan Pearce (ROBOTTTTTT WAAAARSSSS)
Co Commentator: John Barrowman (seeings he's on everything else)

Pits: Jonathan Ross (on another £5million a race)

Pearce was good on Robot Wars, and it's a better commentary choice than John Motson and Mark Lawrenson. Does Alan Hansen even know anything about F1? And will they draft in Alan Shearer from MOTD? He'd be perfect for interviewing Kimi. :P

Hansen knows a thing or two about driving though... he works wonders with that Morrisons trolley :P

Well, I think that the 'BEEB' might be missing a trick or two by not looking at the undoubted orators on this forum. :(
How about a commentary team of - AKR, Bud, McLaren Fan and Darwin Dali (who could comment every time something was 'a bit harsh'!! ) :P

What do you reckon folks?

Love the new smileys! :drink:

For the Irish Cup Final this year, the BBC had fans' commentary on their interactive service. Basically, one fan of each of the two teams taking part took the microphone. It was an absolute laugh listening to the rival fans bickering with one another and scoring cheap points. With AKR, bud and myself at the microphone, similar chaos would erupt. I'm not sure that even DD could keep things calm. I'd be up for it. 8)

You could just imagine a die hard Kimi Raikkonen fan doing 'Fan commentary' along side a die hard Lewis Hamilton on the last race of the season when the titles on the line that race. Would be hilarious.
