Wow, this is a hot topic. I guess it's because Lewis is the most popular driver now. Why we don't talk about Nakajima for a bit? He also made a silly mistake in Australia (hitting RK behind the safety car) and didn't apologise later. And even said on camera that he had a good race! And he too got the penalty. Why does no one love/hate him? I guess if he was said to be the next Senna, then people would talk about him too. The media-pumped baloon has a few holes in it by now, but still this is the biggest one on the sky (my opinion solely). Regardless, if you like him or not, you have to admit he's a person who can attract attention.

Just something I wanted to say, carry on please.

(how's that for fence sitting? )

Yep, he's someone the haters just love to write about and as has been pointed out there's not been many drivers who've gone straight into a top seat so his early career mistakes are made a little more obvious and have slightly more effect at the front end of the races than the mistakes made by everyone else who've started their careers further down the grid.

Does he have to know the rules - or is it ok for him to drive in to the back of others... Awaiting to hear what happened.

It does look like he turns in to Raikkonen.

No he didn't. And after watching the videos and thinking more about Hamilton's mistake, I've fallen more in love with his skills. If he kept going straight he would have hit Kubica, so he was trying to veer left too avoid hitting either one of the drivers but couldn't do it in time. Theoretically then, if Hamilton didn't react in time, then him and Kubica would be out of the race. Where is the fun in that?

He did not mean to turn into Raikkonen, he was trying to dodge him. I'm amazed at Hamilton's reaction to be honest. He saw the incident and almost avoidedn either of them. But if he had to hit one of them, I'm sure he would have picked Raikonnen.

I saw that Hamilton won "Breakthrough of the Year." He was quite humble, and even praised his team. Lewis Hamilton is no monster.

As much as I've some issues with Hamilton, I'm not really sure he deliberately took out Raikkonen. If I remember rightly, there was not gap to the right of Kubica, but there was a pretty big gap to Raikkonen's left. By aiming for it, he would have avoided the accident.

Meant nothing? How do you know how Hamilton felt about hitting Kimmi? You inside his head now?

Well, Hamilton claims the crash was not his fault, so what's he apologising for?

Well, me think what Lewis was saying is along the line "Sorry Kimmi old fella, but you know I'm right"

There IS apology somewhere in that sentence... right?

Nah, that I'm sure of - he didn't do that on purpose. If nothing else, I believe he was absolutely confident he can and will win the race. And maybe he would.

Well he was humble. Didnt say he had a god given right to be in F1 , said he had to pinch himself every day to believe it was real.Ah bless!!

Let's not forget the Huntesque libido.
Also, I find the way he lets the clutch out somewhat Bernoldiesque.
