That's the most sensible thing you have ever said.
The only problem I see is that Hammy will continue to do ALL of the above. People will continue to be pissed off by this and make comments. And you and your mates will continue to stick up for him.

And we go around and around. We are all to blame for it. But if hammy would just STFU and show just a bit of humility ... Sh!t I might even like the boy. because he is a hell of a driver, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
