The Superbowl generates much more revenue and it's not even a world-wide sport.
Fox News alone generated 255 million in revenue in the last superbowl.

I could also make the numbers work out for certain Olymics events as well.
These number are easy to manipluate when you don't understand what you're looking at.

Dude, of course the Super Bowl will generate more viewers and money than a F1 GP: it's a once-a-yr event and USA is the place with the most TV viewers. And the Big Mac is the #1 burger in the world

I have had TV access to the Super Bowl my entire life; I even understand the rules and how American Football is played, but I have NEVER seen a Super Bowl. I heard Janet Jackson showed some boobs one time with some Backstreet boys guy... and I know Shakira sang in another yr. But that's about my Super Bowl knowledge. :|

I watch baseball though, Go Red Sox :!::D

Actualy China has the most tv viewers in the world.

With cable?

These are numbers I don't have but...
I'm sure in total TV-viewing hours per day: USA is #1.
Not to mention TV sets per capita.

In my F1 racing magazine they showed viewing figures per country. China alone has a t.v. poulation of 1.2 BILLION, and only 102.9 million watch F1. The United States has a tv population of 283 million, while only 10 million watch F1. I got all this information from the F1 Racing magazine, and a total of 597 million people watched F1 last year.
