Languages:
Spanish, English, French and Dutch. Also, can understand and (poorly) speak Italian and Portuguese, should the need to score some hot chick arises (past tense though):)

Got a degree in Civil Engineering (graduated in 1999). Also, got a Master of Science degree in Hydraulic engineering from Delft, The Netherlands... finished around 2003.

Carried out my MSc thesis plus some research work at WL Delft Hydraulics... in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the River Engineering department; during, i basically worked in the introduction, implementation and simulation of flow trough hydraulic structures in rivers (such as dams, weirs, culverts, pumps, gates etc) in a 1D-2D hydrodinamic simulation software called SOBEK (developed by WL Delft Hydraulics). And yes, there was a real pro wind tunnel at WL, but i never used it

All good fun.

Umm that is a lot of languages that you claim you can speak. How well is the queastion? I wouldn't be surprised that after say language 8th onwards that your knowledge would be very basic?

Also how much do you know of the constructed languages. You mention one, Esperanto. Do you know what Ido, Interglossa, Interlingua, Novial and Slovio are? Just curious in your opinion on these. I prefer Esperanto over all of these but only because it is the most popular not because it is the better.

Oh and one more thing. What is the language you call "Bushman"?

I can speak English, obviously. I also can speak French, although I've not used it for a while, so I'm not as on the ball as I used to be. My Latin is also decent, but, like my French, I've not used it in a while, so I've lost my sharpness. In school, I did some German for a while, but it's pretty basic stuff. After I get my university work out of the way, I'd like brush up on my French and Latin skills again, and learn Italian, for I love Ancient Rome and think Italy's pretty cool (which may surprise AKR given my views on Ferrari  ). Sadly, in British Isles there are no proper ways to learn foreign languages. I feel embarrassed knowing what I regard as not being a lot, but I'm streets ahead of most people.

Gosh that is a lot of languages! I think Darwin speaks a lot of languages too?

I'm useless with languages although I can understand and speak a tiny bit of French.

same, lucky im english so can get away with it, languages im not good at

I forgot about that - I did latin at school. I did "well" at it at the time but would be hard pushed to remember any of it these days! TBH, not really something that interests me either - I'm brushing up on my French at the moment because I'm planning to go there for a year or so, plus I want to learn Chinese (probably Mandarin, even though my Mum speaks Cantonese). I suspect any proper learning will have to wait until I've finished my dissertation though :(
