Reasons why and why not to support the idea of having F1 in the Olympics despite the IOC - International Olympic Committee charter that is clearly against that.

What ya think? (opinions plz)

I think F1 pilots should deserve an Olympic Medal, peple like Misha Shumi

why would you - it would just dilute the world championship. The athelets (Drivers) would also have to compete for their country and would need the same cars for every country.

Hmm i think that sounds a bit like A1gp OMG it is A1gp.

As well as that F1 is to commercial for anyone to even entertain the thought of having a F1 race in the olympics

yeah i have to state that the IOC shares this understanding and will never accept maschina oil proppelts, same goals with Ultimate Fight and Yoga.

Anyway, horses are self-propelled, but the sports person is not. The athlete rides on a horse or a sulky (a cart) which is very similar to riding in a car.

I agree also. Anyway, do we really want 'our boys' getting mixed up with drugs and steroids and stuff ,which are essential for Olympic glory?
We have enough problems with floppy discs being passed around in F1!!
