Just a question, you said used to be a massive Juve fan? Why not anymore? Have you jumped ship to another team. You know a true fan never does that?

Well, we used to have 2 Italian football programs over here a week - one summary program and one live match, and they stopped showing both of them and I found it really hard to keep up with what was happening. I did used to buy Italian sports papers to try and keep up with what was happening, but my Italian is really, really poor so it was a massive struggle. Juve are still the team I support, along with Italy, but I don't follow them religiously any more.

It is an English web site on Italian football and Italy etc and it is all in English. And believe it or not it is more up to date than the official Serie A website. I use this site more than the Italian one. I think it may help perhaps revive your interest on the subject?

I guess you were disappointed in Italy's result againt Holland. Was a bit dismal I guess. Oh well cant win all the time. Holland wants to win too I guess so good on them if they go on to win it. I would however still like to see Croatia win it if Italy does not.

Whatever. Italy are still the WORLD CHAMPS and will be regardless as to what happens in Euro 2008 until 2010 at least.

Also from this point any teams mentality if they want to win the tournament is to win all their remaining games. I cannot see Italy having a problem with this when they play Romania next and then France. If Italy win both which they can easily do, then they will get to the next round. By the way Holland's first goal was clearly offside. I really hate cheating refs. And Holland were quite lucky that Italy's many shots at goals didn't go in or were miraculously saved by that dumb scumbag Man United Keeper that is Van Der Suck oops I mean Sar. And then they just happened to score twice on the counter. They wont win Euro 2008 like that so they better do better later in the tournament. And dont worry I watched the WHOLE game and I know this is true.

Eitherway even if Italy do not win it, it is only Euro 2008. No Brasil and Argentina. Italy won the 2006 world cup which featured those 2 great teams. And Italy are WORLD CHAMPS, that is right THE WORLD CHAMPIONS............... So in the end I would be happier for CROATIA to win Euro 2008 than Italy since they have never won anything before and since they are great and since my mum is a Croat. . What I find anoying is that crap teams like Greece and Denmark have won the Euros before and not Croatia which is clearly better than both. Oh well they may win it this year. If that happens at least then Croatia which is better than England can say they have won before and England never. (Although England at least won the world cup in 1966).

Hopefully Spain but Romania have a chance even though they are in the group of death. The Q ahead of Holland and it takes a while for Italy and France to get going in any Comp so they are my dark horses at 150-1.

Germany beat 2-1 by Croatia and a 1-1 draw between Poland and Austria.

Poland just levelled with Austria 1-1, and they've no chance to get out of their group now. That was expected probably, but not so soon! I won't believe that they'll win with Croatia, so it will be a short episode for polish fans, I guess.

By the way I am still learning German. (Only started as a matter of fact). I wouldn't take offense if you corrected my phrase. Just so you know as learning from errors is always the best way. Danke/Hvala/Grazie.

Btw Italy's draw to Romania sucked. We score a goal and it is given offside. Then they score first but luckly we quickly equalise and then they (The Romanians) get given a controversial penality but miraculously or keeper Buffon saves it. What else could possibily go wrong? Oh well at lease we did win the World Cup 2 years ago.

As for games did anyone see Turkey V Czech, best game of the tournament so far for drama!

abit off topic but i dunno how Turkey can even be in the Euro championships when geographically 99% of Turkey is apart of Asia
