i dont really mean racing, just driving long trips

i just drove to sheffield and back to opick up uni stuff 300 miles round trip, and i really enjoy it, just driving along, (where theres no speed cameras) sometimes fast sometimes slow, with my music on

thats my main reason for buying an expensive car, cause i love it so much

I like driving too. The most I've driven alone was about I would say 300 miles too, and that was when I drove down to Long Beach Calif, to see the final Champ Car race.

It's quite comforting when you're cruising along a nice open road or a free-flowing Motorway at a steady speed, feeling either cosy on a cold winter day or cool on a warm summer day with your favourite album playing. :)

I fondly remember a long trip I took in the 90's: San Diego - Madison (Wisconsin) - Thunderbay - Vancouver - San Francisco - San Diego (all down on Highway 1). 3 weeks, thousands of miles.

The law won't currently allow me to drive (something to do with a licence or some other silly thing) but I enjoy the odd road trip with my friends. Once I have my licence, I imagine I'll spend a lot of time driving (provided I find a car that runs on air, which costs nothing) because otherwise my family will just send me insane. :P

Love driving.
But I dont enjoy huge long trips. I prefer 3-6 hr daytime drives (anything more or at night becomes annoying)

Windows down, from high in the green mountains to the coast; specially if you can see the coast form the mountains 8)
In fact... i love any drive if you can see the ocean :)

Either that or the rip-off fuel prices will send you insane... especially if you've got a diesel like me. :(

LOL talking bout petrol station related... I was in a motorway service station the other week, and I notice they are really milking Top Gear. That's another summer driving anthem CD out, crazy!

I bloody love night driving, drove the motorway from bristol to shrewsbury at 4 am, didn't drop below 120mph all the way and on the whole journey only saw 3 other cars on the road. However one was an old V8 vantage that passed me at about 160/170mph ish, was very impressive!
