I do like him, but I would like him more if he wasn't so big headed, people seem to think that ITV make him seem big headed, no he just is

On this matter, I agree completely with Fact Man. Hamilton's arrogance is sickening, and, saying as he does truly believe that he is God's gift to the earth, he should be judged accordingly. Once again, the Hamilton family's false modesty has been revealed. The whole pack make me want to throw up.

I think the media have a lot to answer for hamiltons arrogance, they arnt completly to blame but if you look at what the motorsport press were saying about him pre season - and then everyone else after they really built him up to sound like gods gift to motorsport, and when you are surronded by it it is going to rub off.

He needs someone to give him a reality check because it seems that Mclaren (as much as i love them) are very good at blowing inflated ego's up (Senna, Prost, Montoya to name a few) and his dad is just there for the ride and whatever junior does is all good in his book.
He needs a truly awful season to get his head right - send him to Toyota for reality training

They all are, he just doesn't hide it very well.

You could see from his reaction the moment after the collision when he remembered there were lights at the exit he realised how stupid he'd been.

I think most people are made about the situation is not the situation itself but how LH reacted to it after the fact. While Roseberg fully accepted his penalty, saying its JUSTIFIED, and blaming himself for not stopping, LH tried to brush it off and calling the penalty "harsh" and the rule "silly". Two of LH's supporters Sir Jackie Steward and The Daily Mail have questioned LH's maturity after the Montreal GP, A writer for The Daily Mail wrote: "Shame on you, Lewis, not for an exhibition of driving which would have cost you your no-claims bonus on the streets outside your Geneva home, but for a lack of contrition.", Sir Jackie Steward said "When he looks back in four or five years he will question himself about what sort of PERSON and driver he was in 2007 and 2008," the Scot said. LH is a good driver but his arrogance and maturity cost him the 2007 Title and if he continues on this path he will see the 2008 Title go down the drain.

The rule with the red light isn't silly. The refuelling rule is a little stupid, but this one is there because you know that, had it not been, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Kubica, Alonso and Rosberg would have come screaming out of the pits, jostling for position and then would most likely have all smashed into the train of cars following the safety car.

All these darn rule's have taken so much away from true racing it's saddening imho. The pit's should never be closed and refueling should not be limited at anytime.

I disagree. Entry to the pit lane should not be affected, but I stand by the red light rule, especially since there are still a number of young and somewhat impetuous drivers on the grid.

That's because he was penalised. Not hating on Hammy and I read ALOT of stuff about his arrogance or he said this or that, our coverage in the US is not as great as the rest of the world, so I get confused to what is actual statement's from Hammy or just is one's opinion?

This season is no different though than any other season? I guess I'm just old school and think that if they made it to F1 the driver's should be allowed to race and not worry about 'pit lane' infraction's.

Yeah, I know it's because he was penalised but I don't understand why he's made those comments. He knows full well he made a stupid mistake and what the penalty is for something like that.

as for the pitlane rules:
They'd have to come up with other rules on how a car leaving the pitlane can slot into the train behind the safety car. Not a good idea imo but I do think something has to be done about the pits being closed for refueling.

I know, but you also have to consider safety. What would have happened if those five cars had come on to the track at full speed as the safety car and the drivers following it were coming round turn two? I'm quite sure that if that collision had occurred then there would have been a red flag.

I understand what your saying but are we talking about the best driver's in the world or so they say?

Exactly. And the best drivers in the world missed a high-visibility red light.

It seem's your issue is with safety and not necessarily the rule's, that just my perception, so I can appreciate that but I still stand by my outlook. It's hard to fully comprehend one's meaning from a keyboard but I think we are on the same page.
