Won't have a decent british driver there for a while, also the biggest mistake they did was driving Juan Away, i loved him too bits!!!
and Besides Kimi, he was the other reason for me liking Mclaren, Driving him away, then Alonso? that just added coal to my fire!! Juan was a true champion, and someone didn't give him the right car!! i hope he returns
Montoya was not a true champion. He was a great racer and when he was on his charges, he was very exciting to watch. He did not, however, have the consistency, effort and fitness to be a Formula One world champion. I was pretty excited when he came to McLaren: he had the ability, but sadly wasted it, and I was left feeling what an anticlimax.
I've similar feelings about Raikkonen, who also wasted his ability at McLaren. Like Montoya, he clearly had the speed to be a champion, but was more interested in partying than being a serious competitor. What angered me was how he complained that the car was not fast enough, but he was not quite so good at coming up with solutions when he decided he might do some testing.
Alonso, well, I've talked about him to you before. He can only really blame himself for not winning the title last year. Yes, Hamilton was giving him a good run for his money and was being a complete twat, but had Alonso kept his cool and cut out even some of the gaffes he made, he would've been world champion.
