Kubica instead of Alonso, I would love to see this rumor come true.
I think Kubica is the driver of 2008 hand down, now he is someone who impresses me, both as a driver and a person. 8)
If he was in a Ferrari or McLaren he would be unbeatable this year.

Kubica to Ferrari, Raikkonen Out ?

BMW-Sauber wants to keep on-form Polish driver Robert Kubica at the wheel of a Hinwil built formula one car, team boss Mario Theissen admits.
The natural term of the 23-year-old's contract expires this year, but it is believed that BMW have a one-sided option to prolong the agreement to include 2009.
Asked whether the German squad wants to keep him on board, Theissen told the newspaper Bild am Sonntag: "I have no reason to want something else."
The race may however be on to capture Kubica's longer term services, amid rumours in La Gazzetta dello Sport that Ferrari is actually keener on the Pole than it is on Fernando Alonso, who is looking to return to the front of the grid as soon as possible.
The Italian sports daily reports that Ferrari has already made initial contacts with Kubica, who is apparently the Maranello based team's first priority should Kimi Raikkonen indeed decide to hang up his helmet.
"Yes, we will be talking with him later this year about a new contract," BMW's Theissen explained, amid speculation that Kubica currently earns 5 million euros per season.
BMW could also become an option for Alonso, with Theissen hinting to Bild am Sonntag that Nick Heidfeld "must improve" his current form if he expects to continue to receive the team's loyalty.
After hearing about Raikkonen's comments in Canada that retirement could be an option after 2009, Alonso insists that his only current target is to reclaim his winning ways.
"I have been through the same thing," Alonso said in an interview with France's L'Equipe.
"Two years ago I thought my career would not last so long -- I had won two titles and needed a new challenge.
"But now I know I will continue because I want to win again and prove that I am the best," the Spaniard said.

wether Kimi retires or not, Kubica will be a BMW-Sauber driver next year because BMW will use their option on his contract for one more year, enough said, end of rumor.

I can dream & hope can't I :(

I hope he doesnt move anytime in the future, Kubica and Heidfeld are a great team, they are both fast and keep pushing each other, and with the new rules coming in BMW might make use of there resourses and get a jump, or atleast be on par.

i dont see kubica going to ferrari that would be crazy after helping to build up BMW why woulf he leave to ferrari and then very likely be staring at a 'powered by BMW' rear wing

Alonso at BMW. Now there's a possibilty.
Both Alonso and Kubica are best friends. BMW need an experienced driver if they replace heidfeld. I mean, it all fits perfectly.

But the, "talks" of Kubica joining a front running team. What if BMW are a front running team. Does he just stay with BMW.
I think so.

There has only beeen one driver in which ferrari hae took that hasn't won a race, and that was Felipe Massa, Ferrari will thrive for a World Champion, and Alonso is a 2 time gold Medalist :) Alonso has major chances of joining the Italian Stallian Team, and Kubica is a loyal man, in which he will no questionably stay at BMW :) Nick Heidfeld must be re-placed i must admit!!! Kubica is pulling his weight!! and making a major approach towards the winning ways!! he came 2nd yesterday on a flooky occurance?

Well you know what they say about our man Rob:

"Nothing's getting Robert Kubica out of that BMW but perhaps the red car."

the lack of respect for Kimi by supposed Ferrari fans....lambs, is pathetic! i can predict now that after he has won a few more races this season the same people cheering and praising their man Kimi.... ahh to follow Ferrari

Comment's aimed at such people, as i'm sure the person you are talking about has supported Kimi for a long time now :) and i know i have supported Kimi since 2002 :) and have supported Ferrari since 1996 :) Kimi is a credit to Formula One, and when you talk about such Lambs? I will agree people do just go for the winners of the sport, and Formula one is a Glory supporter sports, as Lewis hamilton is Britians new great hope? but what happened to Button? I will agree with you to a certain extent, but i am not a glory supporter, i support the Brasillian and Iceman all the way, and have supported Kimi for 6 Years now, and will continue too until he Hangs up his helmet, Alonso will join Ferrari, and i will support Massa, as that is what alot of Ferrari fans will do.
