Way to go Robert I'm very happy for him aswell as Nick. This race was no doubt very strange but one of the best I have seen in a long time.

Fantastic drive by Kubica. I've been a big fan of this guy since he emerge on Fridays. I don't think this years title is on for him, but many in the future should be.
Overall he really has outdriven the likes of Hamilton, who had a terrible day!

Was it just me or was Heidfeld pissed off?

Kubica is a brilliant driver. He's not a wimp or a pretty boy like most younger drivers you see now, but a good honest racer. Formula One needs more like him. As for Heidfeld, I think he felt he could have won it and is annoyed at not just having been beaten again by his teammate, but at having seen him get the team's maiden victory.

Let's be honest If you were Heidfeld you would be so gutted. He basically helped build that team and move it forwards. Delivered them points and strong finishes. To be upstaged by Robert is having an effect on his season. Even this 2nd position will probs bring him down even more. Seeing as his team mate beat him convincingly in the end.

Good stuff. Here's hoping that BMW and Kubica do well in the future, but hopefully not well enough to diminish McLaren's success.

It now looks funny that Heidfeld was given a contract with BMW last season, whilst Kubica was only kept on board for a year in case Alonso was coming to the team! Heidfeld doesn't really have anybody to blame but himself, in my view. Okay, the car is maybe not as much to his liking this season compared to previous years, but he has been owned all season long. I'm beginning to wonder whether or not Heidfeld could even be a decent number two driver for BMW, because his pace is not even good enough to steal wins and podiums should something happen to Kubica.

And I find it funny that you can call Alonso's inability to handle a faster team-mate a flaw, Kimi's falling asleep at the wheel a flaw, but not Lewis not paying attention to the light at the end of the pit lane in Canada during a safety car period. It was a lack of concentration at a time when he should have been concentrating the most, particularly as eight cars took to the pit lane at once after all being bunched up together.

See i remember last year Ron Dennis sayin he wanted Lewis to be the most prepared driver on the grid. To know the rules inside out... Seems he didn't do his homework today did he?

I don't think it was a case of not knowing to look for it, just a case of him being too busy trying to get out as close as possible to Kimi and Robert. He just got a little too close. It has already been proven time and again that not concentrating can easily put you out of the race or at the very least ruin your chances of scoring any points.

At least Hamilton saved his crash (this time) for a racing venue. Hamilton's father, however, should be ashamed of himself. I found it disgusting yesterday when he and Louise Goodman laughed off the incident. The Hamilton family's false humility makes me sick.

God that was one helluv a race!!!!!!! Man we saw a Honda lead too!! Oh man I am soooo happy right now, and it was great to see Coulthard on the podium as well. I guess I have to change my signature now since BMW-Sauber won. I knew Heidfeld would make the podium, but I'm kinda sad McLaren didnt do too well.

I was pissed tho because F1 was on Fox instead of SPEED, and they didnt show the pr-race show, and they didnt show the interview with Heidfeld and Coulthard.

Yeah, Fox sucks big time, but it's just a one off.

Not bashing Lewis but this is his second season so 'not knowing to look for it, the redlight' hold's no weight. Kimi cameout in the lead which flustered Lewis. It's as simple as this, RED mean's stop and GREEN means go right?
