I just watched it right now because I was working, but its great to see Barrichello in Q3 for the first time in 08. Kinda mad Hammy got on pole because I thought BMW had it for a second there. This should be one helluv a race tommorrow and I'm excited!!.

How did Hamilton get such a low time? Is everyone else on a 1 stopper? Doesnt make sense given how often the safety car is deployed in Montreal.

either he is doing a 3 stop strategy which could work if the safety car comes out at the right time or it was just one brilliant lap. Mclaren don't need to take much risks and therefore i say they are on the regular 2 stopper.

On a side note i just read Massa says he can win from 6th. Considering that means he has to overtake i'm not holding my breath!

Aye, mind you for a while I thought he didn't say much, it was mainly Brundle talking.

Then he came in with that.
What a lap by Hamilton, but due to the sad fuel rules for qually, we'll need to see how spectactular it actually was. Probs alot of it was Hamilton himself, but heavier Ferrari's could be the case?

The probelm for Ferrari was turn 10. Its crap.
Neither driver could get drive out of turn 10, and with a staright that long afterwards, that was losing them just under a second probaly.
I remeber watching Massa and thinking, couldn't he off floored it a bit sooner out of turn 10. Well apparently not, and nor could Kimi.
It may provide an entertaining race, but the track really does need fixing.

I wonder if all these symptons will re-materialise during the cause of the race for the Ferrari's? Massa has Rosberg and Alonso - both in slower cars than the Ferrari - infront of him. If he leaves it too late to try and overtake both of them they might pull away from him and he could fall under pressure from somebody like Webber or Heidfeld.
