Any NBA fans on here? Tex, Rive? How cool is it that the old rivalry is fighting it out in the Finals again. During the season with the form that both the teams had i was hoping this might have eventuated just for nostalgia's sake and im a Sacramento Kings fan

Im thinking the Celts will take it in 5 games with Kobe(the closest thing to Jordan in todays game) trying his hardest to carry the Lakers but wont be able to fight the likes of Garnett, Allen and Pierce on his own!

I will be watching the final, should be really good. I was kinda hoping it were these 2 teams. Sooooo 80s
It would be nice if they played at least 1 game in the Old School shorts like back then

I hope the Celtics can at least partially neutralise Kobe to make it 5-6 close games...

Man I cant wait!!! I've been a Lakers fan my whole life so I obviously want them to win, but its great to see the Celtics back in the Finals. But to be honest I hope its an exciting Finals because in previous years they have been a total waste of time to watch. I'd just like to say that Larry Bird is my favorite All-Timer Go Bryant, Gasol, and Fisher!!!

Im not really going for anyone as i said im a Kings fan but i do hate the Glasgow Celtics so maybe ill favour the Lakers slightly

Boston won Game 1 at home... I guess maybe they can win another game, but I doubt they will be able to keep up the intensity they showed in G1. And Kobe was more or less neutral. i'd like some of what they gave to Pierce in the dressing rooms

Don't really mind whoever wins though. I'm more of a Boston Red Sox fan than basketball...

i know i'm getting old when the coaches are the guys who i watched playing... and some of the guys that used to coach, are now commentators

The lakers played like middle school kids. When they had the ball they missed their shots, and when they went to defense, they fouled almost everytime giving the Celtics free points. Absolute garbage.

congrats to Boston Celtics though, they deserved the title this year
