Who cares what she thinks or you think about how glamorous she is, the fact is she is marketable. Schumacher made plenty of money out of standing in front of a camera selling shampoo amogst other things. Lewis will as well and so will Danica.

Schumacher's main focus was driving. Marketing was done on the side and because he had to do it. Patrick, however, rather enjoys sitting in front of a camera all day.

She's the top woman racer and she gives a lot of the guys a run for their money.

She's the top female racer because she's the only one at any serious level of motorsport. Her results show she can't give the top drivers a run for their money. One (lucky) win in how many starts?

Im not being a feminist, do you think maybe a little chauvenism is creaping in your assessment of her? I dont expect any favours to her because shes' a woman.

As I said earlier in this thread, I've no problems with women being involved with motorsport, so long as they are fast enough. Patrick is an average driver in the professional game and her commitment to the sport is is suspect. That's why I don't want her in Formula One.

I havent watched her enough to comment but her results suggest she is AT LEAST average in a top category, she has good team mates and can beat them. There are plenty of average drivers around, if there were not average drivers there could not be drivers who excel. There are aready average drivers in F1. Maybe if she did go to F1 then her potential could be assessed more easily.Not many Indy/CART drivers have tramsferred successfully so if she did you'd have to eat your words.

Plenty guys have done that when the adrenalin has been flowing, with less justifiable cause than Danica-Shcumacher and senna amongst them .Im not sayin its the right way to handle situations cos I dont think it is but I dont think it has anything to do with her being a woman. She has as much right to be outraged as the next guy.

I agree that it has nothing to do with her being a woman, but you're missing my point. This isnt the first time she's done something like this, she does stuff like this at almost every race.

Rivelution, I have watched F1, CART, and IndyCar racing for more years than you are old. Danica did walk toward Briscoe's pit after he put her out of race, so what, get over it. A lot of the Danica behaviors you describe must be fictional, I havn't seen them. But, a lot of the above replies sounds familiar, sound like SNUGS.

I'm assessing Patrick on how she's done so far, which isn't great. If she came to Formula One and did well, it would still not change the fact that she hardly set North American motorsport on fire with her scintillating talent.

She goes wherever the money is. She is questioning about switching to nascar.

I'm pissed that she makes big scenes out of everything, and how she thinks she's the ace of the track after one win. The behaviors I describe arent fictional, I've heard from friends, family and read on other forums that she ignores a lot of fans, and just blows them off like they're nothing. Dont you remember her making a scene with Wheldon last year at the Milwaukee mile?? There's plenty of other's, just look at some interviews. I've always hated 'look at me' drivers, and DP is one of them. I've already made it clear that I dont like DP, she's in it just for the money, and if you dont like the fact that I dont like her then just deal with it.

You could pick those sort of facts out about any driver to suit your arguement. They are one person with thousands of fans and it is an impossibility for them always to sign autographs and be chatty. The arguement used earlier that Danica spends too much time behind a camera not enough behind the wheel could be turned on its head here if danica tried to meet and greet all her fans-Danica spends too much time courting fans and not enough behind the wheel. She is a racing driver.

I dont really know much about her, but if she is a good driver then think of the weight difference, she must be what? about 9 stone, tops? I bet most of the guys are about 12 or 13, dont hold me to that though.
